First time here...love the service...everyone super friendly...Food ?Highly recommend the Bison burger...and the happy Birthday shake!!
This place is always good. It has a fun atmosphere. The service is good. They are dog friendly and even have a doggy menu. They got new owners recently from what I hear and sometimes thats what you need to get the level of service you deserve. The parking is a little funky, but I never seem to have any problems finding a decent spot. They have a pool table now and are open to suggestions on how to improve. If you're simply visiting the area looking for a fun atmosphere or it's been a while and you miss the signature burgers, they still have those and even some improvements. I had the PB & Jellousy w/ tots a Mai Tai this time then a Rum & Cranberry I don't have a picture of. The PB & Jellousy is delicious but a little heavy for my normal eating habits. I'm sure it's amazing if you're a little hammered or have the munchies, if you know what I mean?.
Honest opinion here. When I first came here a few years I did not like their food at all.. so I never returned til now. And to be honest when my friend suggested we go here for dinner, I hesitated and said no but we came here anyway. To my surprise I noticed a few changes with their menu and was pleasantly surprised with my food. Everything was delicious!! I'll definitely come back. My only complaint is our waiter towards the end of meal was not consistent and she seemed to kinda forget about us. Took her about 10 minutes to notice that she hadn't checked on us!! Not cool!! But overall we had a great meal.
Well, at first we thought it'd be a bad experience because no one noticed we were there for bout 20 minutes or so.But then our waiter came, apologized profusely, and was very gracious throughout our whole visit. Kyle took extra special care of all our needs.We started with the Vampire dip and some bacon cheese balls. That dip was so good, we cleaned that board! The cheese balls were just as good, but the dipping sauce was no less than amazing. I wanted to dip everything in it!We saw the pizzas on the menu so we added that to our order and wanted it as another appetizer, but it came after our burgers. That pizza was crazy! We got a deep dish all meat and and all the flavors were there! I couldn't finish a whole slice because, well... Burgers!The burgers were just as good as I'd remembered from a few years ago when Slater's was further south, closer to the beach. Tho they were not as pink as I remember. The bacon is thick and wonderful as you want it to be. I chose tater tots to go with mine. My little great niece got a grilled cheese and sweet potato fries. Must've been good! She ate all the fries and half the sandwich. Not bad for a 6 year old.A couple things were comped for our wait, so our bill wasn't too high. So we ordered dessert. Passion fruit cheesecake. Just wow. I'm normally not crazy bout coconut on my desserts, but this was perfect.Oh and throughout our visit, various staff came by, brought us things, napkins, settings. They apologized for the wait and thanked us for being patient. They were severely understaffed for the moment.It was a great night. A wonderful time, perfect food and a nice restaurant (but those chairs! Ouch). Thank Kyle, thank you Slater's 50/50. We will def be back!
Gone here a few times for brunch and dinner and everything was great. However the last time we ordered the loaded breakfast biscuit and it came out with the bread being very hard. The waitress immediately took it back and had the cook fix us a new dish which was much better. When we were ready to pay she said no charge due to the first order not being up to par. This was an above and beyond customer service experience.
Always delicious. Every time I am near Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach I make plans to stop by for a 50/50 burger.

Possibly the best appetizer (cheese dip in the bread bowl) and burger I've had, (girlfriend agrees that hers was equally amazing) and it was almost closing time too!
Our waiter/server was the best Nick B. Serve our plates just as we ask...drinks were the best ,food the best burger that ever eating...highly recommend....
