Family owned and operated, closed Sunday & Monday. Owner is the sushi chef, great guy who loves his Johnny Cash. Food is good and he cuts his sushi into the largest pieces I have ever seen, almost to big to eat in one bite.
BEST SUSHI IN TOWN! Not only is the sushi good but the hospitality is amazing as well. The owner makes me feel at home. I love coming here and recommend this place to all my friends. Take out is just as good FYI!!
Very good sushi restaurant with excellent choice of rolls and sashimi. It’s not as high-end as the restaurant kitty corner (which is reflected in some of the prices) but don’t let that deter you from trying this place. If you’re looking for a great lunch sushi place this would be it
I read all the reviews before we went, even the couple bad ones. We went in with an open mind. OMG ... what a terrible experience. Food was ok but the service was completely awful. The waitress was awful. My role came out first 10 minutes later my husband's role came out and we never even got our tempura after asking for it twice we finally asked them to take it off the bill we were out. We will not be goingback!!! Diner be ware
Best sushi I've had in HB. Don't listen to the few negative reviews on here - those ppl probably complain that water is too wet ?The sushi chef is awesome - incredible rolls and sashimi, all the while bumping a great music playlist and dancing along. Service was outstanding, food was impeccable (tried 10 rolls, can't decide on a favorite), and the owners are fun and friendly.Go here. The end.
This place is fantastic. Almost dont want to tell anyone about it, its that good. Love the atmosphere and the owners are the best! Quality is A+ in every way. My only spot....
We've had dinner here a couple of times and everything has been delicious. The waitress is a hoot.
Because of the pandemic, I’ve been buying Togo orders more frequently. Somehow, the restaurant itself makes ordering for pickup harder than it has to be. Last time, I tried placing my order and the lady who works there says that I shouldn’t be calling them because they are having their own lunch. Today, I decided to call them again to give them another shot and it was the same lady who answered the phone. She told me to hold for a minute, then told me that she’s BUSY and I should be calling 30 minutes later. I then called Sea Salt, just a block away and took my order right away. Anyways, if you like to take to-go Japanese food here, please don’t. They waste most of your time.
Small location with wonderful staff and service. We were seated right away and despite it being a bit busy, we had a great experience. I would definitely come back here again!
The real deal. You can taste it in the quality of fish Jon chooses. Try sashimi
