Bad service from bald guy (bartender I'm guessing). And if I'm not mistaken I swear I seen a roach in the bathroom
Fun little bar with a cool vibe. You expect it to be exactly the way it is. Has a little bit of mystery maybe because it’s old looking almost vintage, a hole-in-the-wall for sure which has its charm from the outside and very dark on the inside. Nice red lighting with karaoke!
I've been to Shanghai'd many, many, many times and had a GREAT time each time I went. The drinks are strong, the staff are amazing, and how can ya beat karaoke every night (I think) at 8?One busy Friday night though the bartender made a mistake and gave my debit card to a different customer, and tried to give that customers card to me. That other customer was long gone by the time we realized the mistake had been made. I've got to give mad props to Jennifer (the owner). She was on top of the situation and did EVERYTHING within her power to help me get the card back. She also had to deal with an upset me, which, I've been told, can be a little trying ?. Thank you Jennifer for all your help and for going above and beyond any expectations I had to help rectify the situation. Also a sincere apology from the bottom of my heart for leaving that hasty, anger fueled, inaccurate one star review of my experiences in your bar. Shanghai'd IS my regular bar because of your dedication and pursuit of running the best darn little bar in Orange County. Kudos to you and the rest of the staff. You guys rock!!!
Bartenders are great and because I was a Karaoke DJ 28 years ago in Lake Havasu, I love to sing.
Our group had a great time singing Karaoke and drinking drinks with the regulars. It was a fun night full of bravado and silly antics. We will be coming back to this gem of a place.
Had an amazing time at karaoke on Christmas night! The beautiful blonde bartender makes the best drinks ever! ??
If you enjoy singing karaoke, then the early time is great. Come later on a weekend then you might sing one song. It get's crowded and the bartenders shuffle the list when there is a lot of people. You can pay for a few songs but if there is too many, you most likely only sing one before it closes. During the week is pretty empty. Drinks are okay priced, but limited options. There is one great bartender who is very sweet, but the others we experienced were rude.
You have to really like karaoke in this small, loud venue. Nice crowd but it is very hard to have a conversation.
It's a blast and you might hear some songs that are a blast from the past. Bring back the saki and sangria
