To tell the Truth, I was worried about their servings to us. Because Several People wrote Customer Service was Bad, and also the Location was Very Good so Few Employees misunderstood the Basic of Customers' Services. After all, I didn't need to worry about it. A Front Lady smiled and talked to us very Friendly, and also, a Server was very Kind and gave me Right Recommendations. This is why I felt so sorry Customers who had Bad Experiences. We sat down at an Outside Table then we could enjoy very Tasty Dishes and very Nice Views. I will come again then I will try Other Dishes Server's Recommendations.
We really enjoyed our lunch at Sandy’s Beach Shack. The weather was beautiful and we sat on the patio. The view is quite good here; we had lots of great people watching while we ate here. Our server was very attentive. Our drinks were always full. The beer selection was very good as well and the signature cocktails were great. We loved the food. We tried the seafood tostado trio and the ahi tuna and ceviche were top-notch! We thought the third feature was a little too heavy on mustard.
Great Views and Service. The food (Mahi and swordfish tacos) was excellent!! Patio is the way to go. Highly recommend!!
Food was good but the sunset was the best. The beach location makes it convenient after waking the pier. We shared some appetizers and drinks. It was very busy and the servers were doing their best.
What a fantastic place to eat and relax. What a view too!! We celebrated a birthday and really enjoyed it. Great service including the hostess and server …and excellent food. My Mai Tai was so good too. We are from Scottsdale and this was our first visit to Sandy’s. We will go back to Sandy’s when we visit So Cal again for sure.
I have lived in California for 20+ years and I have never experienced discrimination over my race until tonight at Sandy’s. My friend and I wanted to enjoy the night and watch the sunset. We put my name down and the hostess told us it would be a 10-15 minute wait. No biggie so we decided to take a little walk we were only gone for 5-6 minutes tops. We were sure that when we arrived back we would be called for our table. We waited a full 30 minutes before we were seated. In the meantime we watched as white customers were seated while minority customers who wanted to dine at the location were turned away. Fed up with waiting I walked up to talk to the manager. While in line I spoke to an Asian couple who was waiting ahead of us how long they were waiting for their table. The woman answered 1 hour. I overheard the manager tell the couple that their names were called but no one answered. I found that to be an absolute lie as the couple were standing in front of the hostess’s booth. The manager also told me the same thing which I find highly unlikely as my friend and I had been waiting close to the booth. The manager was apologetic and seated the Asian couple and my friend and I right away. This experience tarnished my view of this restaurant especially how racist this hostess as she let all the Caucasian customers in while leaving out minority customers.
Great beach front restaurant
Food was delicious. Host was friendly and very considerate-asked if we wanted to move inside because of the cooler temperatures. Waitress was very good & friendly as well. Second time there in a week. Both times were great experiences. Valet is a little pricey for 1 hr parking though.

Just enjoying a nice, pretty day at the beach!
