Don't be put off by placing your order at the counter then taking a table, indoors or outside. This fiod is the definitive fresco which is obvious with every bite. Everything is fresh here, even the tortilla chips which is made daily with masa imported from Oaxaca. Incredible salsas, taco varieties, drinks, and other fare. Absolutely the best! The prices are very reasonable considering how they make everything from scratch with time and dedication. It is a Mom and Pop and so all of the staff are great and you can tell they love their jobs. The atmosphere is clean and modern after they underwent a $1M renovation where you can see and taste meticulous attention to detail and quality.Not your average local taco joint!We will definitely be back.
simply the worst! this new Mexican restaurant is in the location where the old SuperMex was. From the time you arrive to the time you leave you will likely be disappointed. There are no free chips and salsa, there are no servers to come and take your order, and there is nothing at the bar except tequila and beer. You order your food at the take out counter and they give you a number to put on your table and then they bring your food to you. The food was not enjoyable although the service was quite good. would never go back.
Our first time here, walked in the wrong door so we didn't realize it's counter service. My husband sat down and I had noticed people with numbers sitting at tables so I asked the guy behind the counter how this works. He smiled as said it's counter service but we'll be happy to provide you with full service, go ahead and have a seat and I'll bring you waters and a menu. They did just that. We saw the waitress go by with milkshakes and I asked her what that was. A churro milkshake. We ordered one to try. The guy brought it split for us. I'm very impressed at their going above and beyond providing such awesome service. I had a fish taco, my husband tge banana wrapped pork taco with habanero sauce, and we ordered a side of beans and rice. The food was delicious. I'm still in awe of their kindness. There are several taco choices so we'll be trying more soon.
Finally a taco spot that has great tacos, handmade tortillas, a bar, and great service. The whole package! My colleague and I stopped here one day for lunch to meet the owner and tried every taco on the menu. We loved every single one (even the veggie haha). 5 tacos each and we barely walked out of the place. We were super impressed with the flavors and combinations of ingredients in the tacos and of course the fresh handmade tortillas. You can even buy the tortillas in packs to take home for a great price. The vibe here is pretty cool with the bar and plenty of space to sit or even an outside seating area if that's what you feel like. We met the owner and the manager, both were super friendly and know what they are doing with their 20 years of experience in the industry. I would place this in the "Gourmet taco" category. It's more expensive than the hole in the wall but I think it's worth every penny. Highly recommended!
I went with friends for lunch. You can order at the counter, or have table service in the bar area. We sat in the bar area and the service was excellent. Our server, Crystal I think, was very helpful and friendly. (Sorry if I got your name wrong) She was attentive but not overbearing.The tacos we ordered were delicious! They were tasty and unique. They weren't spicy, but sauces were available. My friend's burrito was huge! The tortillas are made in store, so they were fresh. I thought the tacos were a bit small for the price, but they were delicious as I said. Overall, we had a great time and very much enjoyed the food. I definitely recommend this place!
Que Vida Tacos was the perfect spot to take my family. Food was AMAZING! Everything was so fresh and tasty. Drinks were delicious! Even my kids loved the food! Beautiful place to eat with an exceptionally friendly staff. Can't wait to visit again.
This place is the best. EVERYTHING is fresh. Handmade guacamole with in-house made chips. Fresh lime juice in the margaritas. I had the chicken taco. My friend had a fish taco. We will definitely be back!
We enjoyed the customer service we received with our family. We were not sure if they allowed dogs on the patio, so we ordered our food to go. But a staff member saw us outside and asked if we wanted to sit down at the patio and said they were dog friendly. The food was authentic and delicious.
Everything is homemade here and you can taste the difference! Best tacos and authentic Mexican food in all of OC. My wife and I eat here regularly and have always had great service, food and drinks. Easily ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I stopped by the new Que Vida Tacos and was excited by the delicious, authentic food. I had an Al Pastor taco and a Pibil taco plus a local craft beer on tap. Both tacos and the beer were excellent. The staff was efficient and welcoming and it was a pleasure to meet and talk briefly with the Tucson-raised owner of this family run business. I'll definitely be going back!
