Visiting on a weekend the wait was about 1.5 hours. We had arrived soon after they had just opened. Having known the places popularity attracted many I had no problem waiting this time and was eager to be let in. Once in we realized only one person is making the candy characters. They are custom made in front of your eyes. I can appreciate the artistry and great taste. Be mindful your tongue will change colors.
The fun is really in watching them make these creations. We heard lines get long so we arrived about 30 minutes before they opened on a Saturday. We were already behind 3 or 4 families waiting. Once they opened, things moved pretty efficiently. They make some creations in the back and some in the front for you to see so the line moves faster then you would think. Our creations were not only amazing looking but delicious!
What an amazing experience. In town from Chicago to visit family so I took my two grandkids. I had seen this on TikTok and made sure to plan a visit while I was in town. Wish we had this in Illinois. Lots of characters to choose from and was fun watching them craft others as well. Be ready to wait but it’s definitely worth it. Friendly staff and kept very clean.
Fun place for the kids. Go early or late because there is a line. The kids loved the cotton candy but I got the ice cream bar it was good also.
Had a great first experience at Polar Playground today! My bf and I discovered it a week ago when we happened to be at the shopping mall it's located at. We noticed the long line of people waiting outside and saw everyone coming out with all the cute character cotton candy. Seriously, they're SO cute! And huge too!Fast forward to today when we brought my son. Surprisingly there was absolutely no line! There was only one other customer in the store when we entered around 6:45pm on a Thursday evening. Maybe it's just the weekends that get busy to the point where people are lined up outside the store?My son wanted the evil minion so we ordered that for him. He also had the option of choosing one or two eyes for his character. My bf and I wanted to match the evil theme so we ordered Carnage to share. The character cotton Candy are $17 each. A bit pricey but honestly I think it's worth it. They really are art. Very cute for social media posts too.We got to watch as they made our characters. It's so interesting seeing how they spin the sugar. My son had a blast watching as they put together his evil minion.Of course, it is cotton candy so be warned it's very sweet! But we expected that. They offer free cups of water for customers to get themselves so that was nice to have. We'll definitely be back to get more characters!

It was a really cute small place! There was a line outside but it was worth the wait! It was very delicious and the characters are adorable!
Very nice place. The staff is so nice.They sale milkshakes , cotton candy creations and soft serve ice cream. We went and there was no line. Which was around 1:30pm on a Friday. So like 30mins after they opened. We waited maybe 15 mins for our order. We ordered the Cotton Candy characters. Which are $17 dollars a pop are worth the price because no character is no more or less and it's was the creativity and friendly atmosphere for me so, I didn't mind the price Also, the milkshakes are $7 and up
came here on a break from Disneyland. the kids loved it. highly recommend as a stop asking your route of ever in Huntington Beach.
Great experience. The line was super long but they are VERY organized and got through people very quickly. The shake we had was fantastic (Chocolate OD) and the craft soda was good too. We came for the awesome cotton candy characters and we were not disappointed. Very friendly, very efficient. 10/10
