The place is okay. The nachos are good. The service used to be better. The current server is really bad at following up on us, when we order drinks. Ignore is a good word. Music is good, hard and heavy classic rock. Servers are scantily clad. So that's good, as well. Go here if you're thirsty. Don't expect a refill, unless you go to the bar, and get it yourself.
It smelled like someone threw up close to the entrance and never cleaned it up. This place turned out to be a bikini bar kind of like the Pump Room in Orange, watched the Stevenson vs Valdez fight, ordered a jack and coke and a pint of 805, reasonably priced, I saw food being served but left after the fight because I couldn't get over the smell of vomit
Lots of tvs with sports. Good selection of beer. Wish they had more options for vegan treats
Nice vibe, fantastic bartenders, well worth a visit.
OWNER & OPERATORS OF THIS PLACE DO BETTER!!! was recommended this place highly, but have no idea why. did not even get a chance to see if the food was even good! if zero stars was an option, it would have been chose. the bartender that greeted me was very nice. went there on account of someone's recommendation. big mistake. my service dog is with me everywhwere i go. after ordering $75 worth of breakfast burritos TO GO, i waited paitiently conversing with the nice man next to me.i was approached by a man in a football jersey who did not address me nor introduce himself. he said, "take your dog outside, we don't allow pets."i answered him,"good, i do not like pets." he left. after 2 minutes he came back and told me to wait outside, they do not allow dogs. i informed him that the ADA states that my service dog is allowed where i have access, whether or not the rules of the establishment allow it or not. he said the regional manager will not like it. mind you, the regional manager also had a jersey on, and both of them raised themselves from tables with patrons sitting down. seems to me that if you work in an establishment in california, you are not allowed to imbibe while on the job. guess this place is a pocket of space and time that does not adhere to the rules of man.point is, i cancelled my $75 order for breakfast burritos, told them to read up on ways of understanding the law and common business ettiquette. again, the bartender was nice and she even asked another patron if the dog was allowed, even he said yes.to the regional manager that graced me with his full 90 seconds of precious time, hope you find work elsewhere like barber school. you have not the intelligence nor the professionalism service.i did not speak of my service to this country because no one asked. when i was grateful for the refund receipt, the original male(bartender?) had stated that his father was a vet, so he knew that this was not right, but "the rules are the rules." i told him to give his father gratitude for his service from another veteran. all he answered with was,"f^€k." i feel the same.on a final note, there were some decent people there too. one had offered me a shot. i graciously declined and requested to please not to patronize this establishment in my name. thank you very much for reading this far. i would not go here. i would wait and go to johnny's saloon. never again, y'all are garbage. you do not deserve capital letters either.(in response to the owner's claim) my dog was and is always on a leash, there was nothing said by either parties about a leash. he also wears a red vest that has a service dog patch on each side of his body. i wash my hands of this place. to the owner: you do not have to worry, i will never return to your sorry establishment. you are not worthy of patronage, good day.
Great place for men to enjoy the female host/bartenders ....killer bodies...very fit...they make all visitors feel welcomed.
Good atmosphere at Max's no matter what time of day or night you attend. Plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate people so you can always find a place to enjoy your drinking. They also provide a very long bar of you prefer seating there. They have several tv'# throughout the place with your standard bar channels playing. Bar size pool table for your competitive enjoyment. They have a good menu with better than your average bar food at good prices. The bartenders are attractive women in lingerie that that has class and does not overdue it. Drinks are not shy of alcohol and you know this after finishing your first one. Decent variety of the common bar beers on tap. If your liking to relax and unwind or meet up with a bunch of friends Max's should be on your list
So far so good!
Lots of room for parties and get-togethers! Good selection of liquor and beer, with a full menu, including breakfast, for the morning drinkers! Tons of TV's along the walls and an excellent staff to make your visit well worth it!
