I've tried out the Fullerton location and since we were in the area decided to give the Huntington Beach location a try. Boy were boths locations night and day in comparison. We ordered 2 of the #1 combo which included 4 beef ribs, rice and choice of mac salad or green salad. We opted for the mac salad. Our ordered took a while to come so you know it's made to order. The beef ribs lacked flavor but was fall off the bone. The mac salad was ok, nothing to rave about. It also came with teriyaki sauce. We ate all the beef ribs and the rice and took majority of the mac salad home. After dinner, we also ordered a dole whip soft serve for dessert. They had 3 flavors, pineapple, vanilla or swirl. They let us taste test it first so we opted for the pineapple. Food was overall ok.They are in a big plaza so plenty of parking. They had indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and they'll call your name or number for you to go pick up. You can sit anywhere where there is an open table. Restrooms were clean. So that's all the good parts. The reason I gave them 2 stars was because of their service. When we walked it, it was not welcoming. The lady taking orders just didn't want to be there. She also didn't seem like she was too familiar with the menu. After they took our order, we asked for cups for water and they told us they don't serve water. I mean what restaurant doesn't serve water. When our food finally came, they have no plates. We had a child with us that was sharing. So they gave us a togo container instead. The server brought us utensils but seeing that we had 3 people, she still only brought out 2 sets of utensils. We had to go back and ask. So no water, no utensils, no plates. She also forgot to give us our cup for the drink we ordered. While we were eating, she told us that they are closing, so we need to be out by the time they finished cooking the last of the togo orders. So they were basically kicking us out. I mean if you don't plan to offer dine in amenities, then just offer take out. This was absolutely unacceptable. The Fullerton location was so much nicer. We had called them near closing and they offered to wait for us and let us eat peacefully even though they were closed. The service was totally opposite trying to kick us out even before they closed. So if this is the closest location and you don't want to drive. I guess its okay to order from here but recommend take out. But I saw people waiting for a while even though they pre-ordered online. One person not sure what happened, maybe they lost his order cause he waited for an hour. If you can drive further to Fullerton, then do it. Food and service was so much better. They also didn't offer the dole whip float here where they add guava juice to it.

My first time ordering was last night through doordash. I ordered the #6 teriyaki chicken & Kalbi rib combo. At first sight it looked appetizing but the chicken was dry, tasting like refrigated days old then warm up. The ribs had alot of fat nut tasting with the matiki sauce. Rice was nice and funny and the macaroni salad was decent. But Sorry to say but I won't eat it again. I felt everyything should of been tating fresh for $17.00.

Plenty of meat so the value is really good, however the taste of the BBQ is on the sweet side. I prefer a more savory taste. Service was nice. Like most Hawaiian plate lunches, you will have to wait over several minutes while they prepare.

Good food and lots of it! Recommend!

Aloha and mahalo! Delicious food and plenty of it. We had just finished a day at the beach and this hit the spot.

Very sorry I couldn't get pictures when the food arrived but the food here is delicious highly recommend it and they are pet friendly I give them 11 Stars. Each bite is like a bite in Paradise

The meat was tough and it was mostly fat. The chicken wasn't even chicken, it was like tendons, Crystal bone and fat. Total waste of money.

This is such great food. I knew it was authentic Hawaiian as soon as I walked in and was greeted with “Hey brutha!”. The customer service is what aloha is all about. We usually get the Big Kahuna plate for my family to share (two adults, a 7 yo and 2 yo). Everyone in our family loves it but it is a local favorite too.

2nd time here. Would be 4 stars if the meat was actually cooked fresh from raw to order. Everything is reheated, beef and the chicken. Quantity over quality here

LOVE THE FOOD AND SERVICE A++
