We have been dining at Mario’s for over 30 years. Great food, great service and in my humble opinion the absolute best fajitas and Huntington Beach!
I got plan cheese enchiladas w/ abit of onion on top. They put a million in side & out overboard on the onions. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce no onion or jalapenos or bell peppers in it. Rice no taste, beans were barely worth eating just ok. I drove 2 hrs. for a b-day party & dinner at your place. Definitely not worth the $38.00 & as high as gas is !! I ate on the blvd going home I was starving by that time. Never Again

The Service was good but I have definitely had way better food the price on the menu was not the same price they charged it’s like they make up the price as they go !!! They delivered two different salsa‘s to our table one tasted like marinara sauce the other one tasted like green sauce out of a can just awful the food was just warm should’ve been heated a bit more the meat was dry I can keep going but I better stop here thought I would try it because I tried the other location on Edinger and Springdale and I think that one’s even worse than this one I don’t know how they stay open
Delicious. Big shares. Good service. Very clean and pleasantly decorated environment. Definitely better than their other restaurant on Edinger & Springdale.
Mario's is a local hangout that serves up great traditional Mexican food. You can always tell the quality down to the salsa. The service is fast and efficient. I, personally, order no seasoning on my shrimp tacos and they are perfect. My son has enjoyed burritos, casadillas and dessert that he has loved.Great service and food in a cozy, comfortable old school booth setting with visual interests and warmth.Highly recommend ?
Still the same amazing food it was when I was a kid over 30 years ago!!! So happy this is still in HB. Sad to hear Mario passed some years back. Happy to see his legacy lives on.
Today was my First time eating at Mario's with my family and I can tell you that the food was delicious ???, this is what you call an authentic Mexican Restaurant ?Food Grading from 1 to 10, i give them a 10 , good service, good attitude, make you feel at home, will be back soon.
Slow service, but good. My usual, chilli relleno didn't seem up to par as before. The chips are still great. Plz don't make any changes on those!
Food was okay to me and others I was with. Very bland for what I ate and what others ate I was with.Great portions, we were just not feeling the flavors.Go there and try the food, you may like it, it is just not for us to go back.
