Not necessary to put Thai chilies on everything as a garnish. I love spicy food, but it was overwhelming and upsetting to some of our party that looked over the menu before ordering, to make sure they were ordering something they would enjoy. It was just too much. Also for a Saturday night at 9pm, I didnât really think we would have kids ages 3-6 climbing on booths and making noise. I figured a place that plays explicit music would be an adult type environment. I had been there in the past and enjoyed it very much, but after this experience, Iâm not willing to give them a chance again. Especially at a $300+ dinner.
Crepe was delicious and crisps. My son had the sticky rice and love it. The spices and flavors of authentic Vietnamese and French infused with the food are very tasty! Overall dining and service experience was amazing!
The food at LSXO was incredible, some dishes deceptively ordinary at first glance, but then, ridiculously delicious when getting into them. Drinks are fun and inventive, tropical, and light, for the most part. The bartenders (I was sitting at the bar), were attentive and sweet, but also not overly attentive (which is a good thing). My jaggy at LSXO was easily one of my top 5 best food experiences. Thank you!
3rd time here - did not disappoint. Sticky rice was a tad over-cooked, but still really good.
As usual, the food is just impeccable. The service is flawless. Very nice fine wine and draft beer selection as well as creative cocktails. What makes this hidden gem great--intimate setting and gorgeous ocean views with on a few tables--is also a challenge. We checked in a bit early but were not seated until 15 minutes after our appointed arrival time. The Bluegold Maitre D surprisingly scolded me for standing too close to the receptionist (I approached to ask about my table and another family approached her shortly thereafter). That was a buzz kill. I've dined all over the world and never experienced that before. After that, of all the lovely ocean view tables in the house, we got the table by the door with basically no view and a disruptive door leading to a very packed Bluegold. I almost feel as though the tab should be discounted for that particular table. But the service and the impeccable food quality/attention to detail managed to override the table and the clumsy Maitre D issues. Next time I'll try a weeknight that doesn't coincide with the final day of the surf competition. As a local, I should have known better and fortunately have the option to revisit just about any time. I'm just glad this gem has finally reopened after COVID. I know finding restaurant (or any) talent is tough right now. So lesson to Bluegold: Teach your Maitre D a bit more decorum and LSXO maybe ditch the table by the door or at least do something for the guests that get stuck there. Bluegold you have to think through scheduling/logistics a bit more on busy nights--space seatings a bit more.

Such a cool EXPERIENCE. Also if you are a fan of hip hop underground and mainstream then this place plays jams. Such a fun spot to come to. Also if you hear a song job love, go to the Bathroom and have a private jam sesh to yourself. Best speakers are in there. Donât take too long though. Thatâs weird.
Excellent, innovative, food and drink options. Even though we don't usually share food, we all ended up doing so! Couldn't pass up the opportunity to taste another dish!! Amazing team: Even though I have personally been to LSXO twice before, our table hostess remembered me ... and what I had ordered before! No that speaks volumes!!
Absolutely the best dining experience weâve had in a long time! And we just returned from Europe and had many opportunities there. LSXO way exceeded our expectations. Everything on the menu looked fabulous and the server offered to pick out our menu, which was fantastic. Each dish presented new combinations of interesting flavors and unique spices and seasoning that thrilled our palates. So grateful for a wonderful anniversary dinner. We will definitely return regularly.
We got the dumplings, papaya salad, noodles and a very tender beef dish. All of them were outstanding! We loved the smaller intimate space. Great views of the ocean and their cool bar. Make reservations in advance since the space is small. Perfect date night spot or if you are entertaining out of town guests.
