I had to take my review down to a 1 and add a photo for reference. This is the most STINGY in n out burger ever! Even when you ask for extra lettuce, this is what you get…. Seemingly less than a normal amount… how is that EXTRA LETTUCE??? I will drive to the Costa Mesa locations in the future!Utterly shocked how poor the service is at the location. I have been to in-n-out for over 30 years and in multiple states, even the only one in Oregon… I was completely ignore by Emma while standing in front of her for minutes. It was not busy and she seemed like she was unhappy to be working here. When I said “thank you” and said “no problem” in a tone that definitely let me know I was a bother to her.Most simple customer rule, never say “no problem” because it insinuates that it could be a problem. Emma may be more suited for Wal-Mart or a job where she don’t have to interact with paying customers.They were also out of napkins and chilies. How hard is it to stock things? Not sure why I’m giving two stars…
Visited during lunch hour rush. Despite the long drive thru line, ordered and picked up quickly.Double Double w/grilled onions always hits every time.
I gotta handle it to the man behind the register Isaac this guy had to take one of those complex and annoying orders that my stone friends could’ve ever come up with.But he was patient very thoughtful and the food that we got was incredible obviously there’s a reason why this is the standard for all American burgers I think I can’t recommend animal style enough unless you’re trying to lose weight then I recommend protein style!Either way the high capacity of orders kept a staff on his toes but they didn’t skip a beat no one had to wait more than five minutes for their food this place is truly the Golden standard!Nice job Isaac!
#3 double double cheese burger very tasty and jummy.
Double double burger was okay but not worth the wait. The French fries were fresh but terrible. The chocolate shake had almost no taste. I can't understand why there are such long lines to get this food.
So my meal was fine but my milkshake was a disgrace. For some reason at this location they said they couldn't (or maybe they didn't know how) to properly make the Neopolitan shake. The strawberry was so bitter to me I literally couldn't taste the vanilla or chocolate so I just asked for a plain vanilla. I was really sad i was looking forward to that since I haven't had it in a long time.
Burgers weren't put together great, but tasted amazing as always. It was late and not super busy, yet it took a long time to get our food. We went inside which was a mistake, I'm sure at least 15 were served in the drive through before we got our food.

Give all the people that work here a raise!!!We came with a large group, 6 kids and 5 adults - ended up spilling fries & a drink - they were SO sweet & checked up on us several times. Brought the kids hats, stickers - 10/10 recommend!!!!
So bummed. This place has so many great memories for me when i was younger and I come here every year to buy my friend a T-shirt, but don't usually buy food. This year I had time to eat lunch and it was an extremely long wait to get my food. Normally, even when it's busy, there's little waiting (7-8 min), but this time I waited over 20 min for my food. By this time,my fries (the best part) were cold and I almost went back to complain, but at this point I didn't have time. My hamburger was not as delicious as I remembered, but as usual, the staff is extremely nice, so I'm conflicted. I guess I'll continue to buy a shirt, but not buy food. What a bummer.
