First time here. Very nice, welcoming friendly staff. Shared a caesar salad, fries and 24 wings between 3. Good amount of meat on wings. Great flavors. Will go back. They also have pizza, burgers, other sandwiches. Plenty of TVs.
Great atmosphere! Fun little place to go. Portions are a little small for the price but the food was really good. Would definitely go back if I'm in this part of town visiting again ? the in-house entertainment was awesome!
Weren’t helpful over the phone. I was right outside the attitude confirmed it not eat there so I went somewhere else. Not enthusiastic and they pretty much said if it wasn’t gonna fill me up some work or some customer service. Like having a nicer attitude it’s over me with a second two of these orders to fill me up I probably would’ve done it but I but like I said the attitude was very poor and didn’t sell any type of advertise it over the phone when I was literally outside saying if I was going to finally make my order from there most likely was it until your employees attitude. I hope it was an employee and not like an owner or manager. Seems like you got a good reviews to but I couldn’t enjoy my food or experience with you guys and I had a good one like all the rest of them Do.
Interesting restaurant/cafe. You order your food at the counter from a wide range of beautiful salads, fish and meats, which, by the way, are everywhere you sit. There are long tables shared with others and somewhat small for 2 or 3 people. All food is fresh and tasty. Also a great selection of desserts and drinks. You can drink coffee or a full meal. Nice place to sit and relax and enjoy the local life.
Normally this place has been good, but tonight, May 20th, was bad enough that we walked out. We sat inside and there were maybe a total of 10 other guests inside. We sat down close to the bar and our server took our drink order and got them to us quick. And then she sat down two tables down from us and talked with the other staff while we sat with our drinks. We were ignored for 15 minutes until we just left some money for our soda and got up and left.
Loved the place!!We sat outside on a Saturday around 1:30 pm to enjoy the weather! Very nice atmosphere. We had a party of 16 and we did called for reservations. Tables were already set when we got there.Waitress was very attentive and helpful, took all of our orders and all orders came out accurate. Food was ready in about 15 minutes or so.They also have seating inside plus bar seating and TV’s and the walls.My Double Joe Burger with bacon was very good, it tasted fresh, crispy bacon and delicious and juicy burger patty. As far as I know, everyone enjoyed their food as well. No complaints at all.

Iconic breakfast spot close to the water. Literally, everything on their menu will be delicious but the biscuits and gravy are not to be missed. If you're going during lunchtime, the burger with avocado and bacon with sweet potatoes is my #1.Everyone who works here is sweet and makes you feel like a local even if you aren't (be brave and go for the bench seating). I recommend getting there early because there could be a wait, but the wait is 100% worth it.
About a month ago, I went to Eat at Joe's and was appalled the bartender told me the owner gets upset if you make a drink strong. This is a hole in the wall corner bar. That's a terrible policy. A couple days ago, I decided to give them another chance. When I walked in, the current bartender IMMEDIATELY started yelling at me. I hadn't sat down or said anything. She accused me of being someone else and wouldn't even consider that she was wrong. She said I was drunk, obnoxious, had fallen down several times and even had spit in her face. No matter how many times I told I wasn't there. it didn't matter. She called me by the other person's name and refused to look at my ID. Finally, a server said I wasn't that person. The bartender still back down. At last the bartender looked at my driver's license and relented. She gave me a half-assed, "I'm really sorry" and took a WHOLE $3 off my bill. If she had ANY class at all she would have comped my entire bill.
Being in the area we stopped here again for the cold beer and great food, plenty of TV's to watch sports and very family friendly atmosphere. We live in north Buena Park but when we are in the area this is one of our favorite places to eat.
