Duke's was incredible! Service and atmosphere were awesome and the food and drinks were outstanding! The coconut shrimp dish was fresh and so flavorful. The key lime pie was so good, not too overpowering or sweet and just the right potion size!
The atmosphere, staff, and food, was over the top.....highly recommend!
We had the nicest bus boy who asked how our day was going while wiping our table. Our server was the Best. We felt so relaxed because she never made us feel in a rush. Great personality with a great smile.
Spent a few days in Huntington Beach, chose this restaurant for its oceanfront location. The food was phenomenal. Had Ace Pineapple Cider to drink, deliciously fresh fish tacos, and the most decadent macadamia nut ice cream cake for dessert. Enjoyed it so much I came back 2 days later and ordered the exact same thing! It’s like a mini Hawaiian getaway and a real treat for your tastebuds!
Server was a bit weird. Drinks were good. Fish dinners (two kinds of fish) were very tasty. Beach decor. Kinda wonder who is living off his name since Duke died in 1968!
The burger was very tasty. Fries were nice and crisp. It was between lunch and dinner hour, so we sat at the bar. I love that regardless of Duke’s locations, they all have live Hawaiian music. The restaurant is open air so you can hear birds and the surf. It’s got a great Hawaiian feel to it. The portions are big, but save room for the Kimo’s Hula Pie. Tropical flavored ice cream, macadamia nuts, whipped cream, and hot fudge. Big enough for 2 people.
The service, food and drinks are exceptional! We shared the nachos, I had the prime rib and my partner had the chefs special halibut. I also had Dukes Mai Tai! We cannot wait for our next visit!
If I had known that we were going to end up having food there, I would have not eaten crisps before. It was absolutely fantastic, delicious and with creative presentation! The views, the food, the staff - just amazing. Will definitely return!
Fun spot to enjoy Hawaiian food and ocean view. The coconut shrimp is delicious. Maui watermelon cocktail is refreshing. Must try their signature dessert: Kimo’s original hula pie with macadamia nut ice cream, chocolate cookie crust, hot fudge, toasted mac nuts, and whipped cream.
Definitely worth trying at least once. I probably wouldn't eat here all the time. The service was excellent and the food was very good. I had the mahi mahi which has fantastic flavors but the temperature of the rice was room temp while the fish and vegetables were hot. The key lime pie was terrific, except for the whipped cream, I would have expected real whipped cream for the price. I would not recommend the coconut shrimp as it seemed more like Cajun spicy fried shrimp than coconut shrimp.
