Pretty disappointing. I like delis and bakeries so i was really excited to try this place, and i'm a huge fan of italians too. However, The italian sandwhich is just uninspired . Super boring white bread, if it was any more dense or dry i'd say there was something wrong with it. Just passable as bread. It's not soft and light like store bought white bread, and it's not a fresh crackly french bread, just a really dry and dense boring white bread with no texture or flavor. Almost like you need a drink of water after every bite. I'm a home baker so i know good bread, this stuff is cheap and fast. Sure hope you like Italian dressing, cause that was the only discernible flavor i could pull from the sandwich. It overpowered the tomatoe, and the deli meats lacked any kind of contrast. There also wasn't enough cheese or onion on the sandwhich to taste it. Only reason i gave it 3 stars was because it was reasonably priced and they didn't skimp on the deli meats, but they need to rethink their bread and their Italian. I've had the cuban here before and that was even more dissapointing than the italian.Do yourself a favor and go to lee's sandwich chain across the street. Grab a coffee and a macaroon while you're there. Thank me later.
Phony Baloney! This place touts itself as an "Italian Bakery" BUT THEY HAVE NO TIRAMISU!!! To make things worse, they do not answer their phone so you can't call ahead to confirm. I drove all the way out there from Costa Mesa for nothing! Putana! Italian sandwiches are OK but not stupendous.
I've been getting sandwiches here since junior high school in the 70's. The decor has changed a little, but the bread is still baked fresh and the pastrami is still a personal favorite. The Cuban is classic, and the Italian sub is great as well.
Best old school deli in town. Sandwiches made to order on fresh baked bread. I’m glad they have a huge menu board. I look forward to trying each and every one!
Have been coming here for about 25 yrs. We moved from Huntington 7yrs ago and still drive from Fullerton for their sandwiches. You cannot go wrong with the Turkey breast and The Italian. Those are our go to sandwiches. They have so many more choices as well. Friendly fast service. Prices still quite the value. Two can share easily the large I do miss the old sides bar but thats been gone for years. So order up some of their sides as well. The potato salad is delicious
We ate there roast beef and provolone deli sandwich with potato salad. All of us liked it. I ordered more potato salad for a party. There 16 inch sandwich fed 4 of us.
The Pastrami and Italian sandwhiches are seriously the best , bread is freshly baked daily ,everything taste fresh and Jerry is very kind. Always look forward to eating here!

I was shown this place by a friend and fell in love. Easily in my top 3 sandwich places ever. Prices are unbeatable and the amount of food you get is amazing. You pay an extra quarter and get double your drink size. They also make their own bread pudding, finally tried it, and it's amazing. So many different options too. The freshness of the sandwiches is amazing, as they cut the meat there and make sure everything is perfect for you. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. Definitely recommend this place to any sandwich lovers.
If you ever come here, you must try the Cuban sub. It is the best! Little known fact about me I don't like mustard or pickles, but it compliments the sandwich so well I devour it every time!They make their own bread here too!
