An absolutely terrible experience! The cook (although nice) was extremely unprofessional and the food was subpar (at best). We waited for an hour before our “chef” came out and our food was even started. The “chef” kept touching his facial hair and continued handling our food. I canceled my meal before it was placed on the grill because I was so disgusted. Wishing we would have gone to KOBE in Seal Beach, instead!The $250+ (2 adults, 3 children) I wasted at this place would have been better spent wiping my @$$!
Certainly ain't much from the outside! Cracking paint, crumbling asphalt of a parking lot, hand written "Daimon" sign. But when you come upon the bustling, loud and delicious smelling interior you know it's special. Our teppan chef was easy-going, fun and competent. Mixed drinks were pretty but on the weak side. Prices were appropriate for fresh, excellent steak shrimp fried rice and veggies. Enjoy!
Within walking distance of our motel, this little gem was just fantastic! Really great sushi! Make sure to try the garlic edamame, which was also insanely good! Enjoyed our evening here immensely!
Don't trust this establishment with your time or any type of celebration. Went there for a birthday dinner and not only did they lose the reservation. Apparently, they lost their common sense and their customer service. At 8:55 (after waiting 35 mins) they inform us that they will have to sit us with the next party which would take an additional 30 mins. I don't care how good your food is, your lack of customer will keep customers away
This place is terrible. Staff is clueless and the hostess was drunk. I ordered Whiskey and got rum. Waited 45 minutes with reservations. And never got seated. We walked out. Total waste of a night.
Absolutely LOVE this fine food!! Everything fresh and delicious!! When in the area we always stop there! And Taco Surf!!!!
Charles at the sushi bar really amazes me . right when I think I've seen all his dishes he comes up with something new.
A great place. We started with egg rolls in the bar (soon to extend to a Tiki Bar outside). GREAT beer prices. Friendly service. And the Red Samuri roll was fantastic.
Food's great chefs are nice people are nice good location it's near the ocean
