Sat at the bar this time on June 18th. Luckily we made reservations because it was completely full. Good experience, chatted with the other couples sitting on either side of us. Bar tenders made good drinks, but as our food servers were a little inattentive to that aspect. Food was excellent per the usual. We both had fresh pasta dishes and really enjoyed them both.
Delicious food for a great fathers day meal. Great service also.
Best find being near Huntington Beach. Came upon this place through Google for Italian food. Great food, Awesome drink, Nice Ambiance. We had a fantastic waitress Taylor. She gave us Specials for food & drinks. Tried the coconut pineapple margarita (delicious) also had the stuffed seafood pasta sheet garlic cream sauce. My husband had the incredibly tasting Seabass. I highly recommend trying this place. I'm not from the OC drove from IE, but next time in the area I will definitely stop bu again
Well if going to Italy just isn't possible this week, a visit to Capone's should tide you over. The staff is friendly and many sure sound Italian. The food is sublime. The Lobster Ravioli was rich and filling. The grilled lamb special was perfection on a plate as were all our entrees. The bread bowl has fresh baked bread and herb olive oil for dipping. And do not skip dessert as it is the perfect end note.
Great ambiance, professional service. My first time here at Capones so have limited number of dishes tried. Of the three we shared, the ravioli was rich and flavorfull with lots going on! The Capellini was heavy and oily. I prefer that dish light and fresh, it tasted neither. Maybe just my personal taste. Had the same opinion of the chicken parmesan. Great flavors, very rich and savory, but too heavy for my taste.
Ravioli, or whatever pasta it was with the pink sauce, was good. This place really didn't stand out to me regarding the food.The waiters are lovely! One of the dishes was wrong , so they gave us complimentary desserts.Overall, good, a nice place to take a date.
Every meal ordered was fantastic.. the garlic bread was an added treat. And drinks and wine was perfect. Desert was over the top. It’s our absolute favorite place!!!
Such good food! Seriously the best Italian food in Huntington Beach if not all of Orange County. So fresh and made with the best ingredients. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place
First, the charred squid appetizer...superb. Tons of herbs and oil...just a great flavor and very fresh. Second, the spicy tomato octopus stew...excellent. A little spice and no fishiness at all. I had the special pasta for the day, which was some type of cavatelli looking pasting with various meats and olives...man was that good. Perfectly cooked and tons of meat and flavor. For the second dish, I had the pork, which was actually just ok. I did not care for the creamy sauce and some of the flavors were not my favorite. It was not terrible but I did not love it. For dessert, the special panna cotta which was excellent as well. Great flavor, texture, just perfect.
Great service , amazing food and very cozy atmosphere. Perfect for a Italian restaurant.
