Dinner tonight at my local neighborhood Italian restaurant, Buon Gusto Italian Cuisine & Deli of Huntington Beach. a favorite Huntington Harbour area restaurant for locals.On this visit I had the Shrimp Diavolo dish. Which is one of my go-to’s here.SHRIMP, ASPARGUS, WHITE WINE, FRESH BASIL OVER CAPELLINI PASTA WITH A SPICY, CREAMY FRESH TOMATO SAUCE. *normally served with spaghetti noodles, but I prefer capellini.And a glass of F COPOLLA CABERNETMy dinner companion had ARRABIATA OVER PENNE WITH ITALIAN SAUSAGEBuon Gusto has an extensive menu filled with many traditional and fanciful options. I’ve had a delightful experience on every visit.Owner Pete Kourkoulis and his staff is always friendly and run a great establishment. I also have always appreciated and admired the way he gives back to the local community. Especially to the local Fire Department and Police Department.Thanks for the hospitality Pete !Funny story, Buon Gusto was the first family restaurant that I supported and posted about here on HB Quarantine Cuisine at the onset of the pandemic, the restaurant shut downs, and the creation of this group.
Charming neighborhood Italian restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. I've never had a bad meal here... and if you like a little spiciness, indulge yourself in the Stuffed Pepperoncini appetizer with ranch dressing... to die for! Yummo!
Great little Italian spot. Food is full of flavor. You can taste the freshness in every bite. Very clean and very friendly place.
Absolutely wonderful. The food is extremely fresh and so delicious. The staff is professional and friendly. Our server Linda with an I , was fantastic. My friend goes to this restaurant often and wanted to catch lunch so this was my first time and I will definitely be back.
A stunning restaurant and great concept : no corkage fees if you bring your own wine bottle… yes!!!! And bread à volonté. A super service and food! Eccolo! What a wonderful restaurant. Friends brought me and we will be back!!! Grazie Mille!

Local HB spot people rave about. I finally went in for a quick lunch date with the wife, good food and large portions. I had the meatball sandwich and really enjoyed it. That staff was helpful and kind. Appreciate having this restaurant one to home.
To go, did not eat inside. Large pizza was $22.57, with tax. Generous toppings & cheese. But, needed more feta cheese. Girlfriend considered pizza average. Myself, consider pizza way above the chain pizza joints. Clearly needed more feta cheese (couldn't taste feta at all).
Food is good and prices are very fair. Service is very family style. Definitely worth trying out.
We had a great time.Nice patio seating, great service, a delicious salad with salmon plus no corkage and a great group of friends made for a wonderful evening!!
