This place is an oasis of coolness! Literally and figuratively. They have EVERYTHING your beach outing needs. From convience store items to beach wear to beach gear. And rentals as well. And there's take out food you can eat while sitting in the nearby lounge chairs while listening to a band on the beach. Like I said...this place is an oasis of cool!And amazingly everything is reasonably priced, considering their prime location directly on the beach within a mile of the next nearest place!And the family (Luis, Kim and son Gio) are the coolest people around! They exude kindness and cool happy beach vibes! My car and phone were stolen at Dog Beach about a mile away. No memorized phone numbers meant I had to hike to a friend's house another mile away. Felt like 20 with a vintage surfboard and a reclining lounge chair. Asked them if I could store my stuff there, while I ran to friend's house and told them the reason why. #$%×=#! thieves! Luis said his wife would take me, boards and all. Wow! That blew my mind. I said, "thanks, that is such a blessing!".The short ride with his wife Kim and son Gio confirmed my thoughts on meeting them. Within the first few minutes you can tell they are some of the most genuinely positive and friendly people you could ever meet. Even if just buying a beer! Special people. People of God! They reinforced my belief that God is out there listening. I had some doubts for a moment and then I met them! God works in mysterious ways. We talked about how good can come from a bad situation Just have trust. Like they did with me, by giving me, a stranger - a ride. That is what I needed to hear exactly after that long walk! Great food! Great atmosphere! Nice owner! After an awesome day at beach, they made it just perfect.
Super friendly and helpful. They rent boards, bikes, chairs, umbrellas and a bunch of other things. I'm pretty sure I could just show up to the beach off the plane and they would have everything I needed.
This is the best spot to go to for summer afternoons. music and new food is great. I recommend getting the chicken tacos.
Music awesome, convenience store great, people great, what happened to restaurant? Pizza and sandwiches were the only reason we came to this part of the beach. New menu is like every other fried place nothing special and basic portions. Understand why pizza and sandwiches are gone.Place took 30 minutes for an order of chicken tenders and a hot dog.Bet it looks I’ll be out of business by mid summer…..
GREAT fun vibes at Beach City Provisions- terrific, friendly & flexible bands such as Darnell and Jeff (jazz & versatile genre of music) as well as B Side OC ( classic rock pop funk n soul) ! Very kind and gracious owners plus very customer service oriented staff. General store has good variety of beach necessities like snacks sunscreen refreshments etc. Generously sized ( Big Kahua for example) & savory Pizza especially enjoyed by many. Generally lots of fun...mature yet fun crowd! 17851 PCH #16 HB at Bolsa Chica State Beach??? Come on down and enjoy!
Luis and Kim and boys and Elvis make the best Hamburger, hot dogs and fries of any place around. Lots of love and care goes into their food! Taco’s are excellent too. They deserve a 10 star rating believe me.

Best little convenient store on the ocean! Great selection, does accept debit, credit cards, apple pay and Google pay. Live music seasonally, weather permitting. Good for large groups.
