Saddest milanesa torta I've ever had. 3 things happened today...1. Ordered water and got a glass w floaters in it (no idea what those pieces were but I had to ask for another glass)2. Our table wasn't cleaned before we sat, didn't notice until my elbow literally slipped from the grease/oil that was smeared on it3. The messed up torta...I mean look at the photos. Look how small and thin meat is! On my first bite I completely missed meat?! Very dry. Smelled and tasted good but no way this should cost $13.99! Also, I asked for no onions (which they did) but decided to remove the tomato for some reason. This is my 2nd time here... don't think I'll be returning.

What a great place! The atmosphere is great, the server was fantastic, the salsa was slightly more watery than I’m used to but it had great flavor. I believe the chips were house made. They came out saltless and delicious. Papupas we’re the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been eating them for years. Very good flavor and it also had a crunch. Will be coming back to Pancho’s!

First off, this food is very delicious, very flavorful! This Main St., Hesperia location is the same restaurant as the Pancho's in Victorville by the DMV. I remember eating at the one in Victorville many, many years ago and finding it excellent! So, I was glad to see they had another location here in the High Desert. At this Hesperia location, my husband and I both ordered a combo plate that included; a chili relleno, and an enchilada with rice and beans. Everything was delicious! The chips and salsa were also very good! One thing to keep in mind is that this Mexican food has a Salvadorean flare to it which will make it just a little different than traditional Mexican dishes you might be accustomed to. Nonetheless, I highly recommend it! My only reason for taking off a star was for cleanliness. When we arrived, our table was dirty from previous diners, so we asked our waitress to clean it. She did but did not do the best job and left some food on the tablecloth. Also, we dined on the patio, and there was a smell of a possible problem with their septic tank. I was willing to overlook those minor issues because the food was outstanding!

I should've taken a picture before I put the beans (since they were in a separate container) which in the beginning IT LOOKED LIKE THERE WAS BARELY ANY FOOD. I hardly ever make a fuss about my order, since I'm not picky. But for over $16 (plus i tipped $2 before hand out of kindness, never again), they cheap mfs barely put any rice and such a small portion of meat WITH THE QUESO UNDERNEATH THE MEAT which the portion was almost unnoticeable. It only seems like a decent amount due to the beans. This looks like somebody's leftovers! That's unacceptable, this was my first and last time coming here ??

We wouldn't recommend this place as there are so many other Better restaurants around I willnever come back and I don't recommend really bad service the personal was acting like really childish unprofessional staff has a big head on their shoulders but nothing to show for it. Completely shameful With so many Mexican restaurants opening everywhere lately they should improve their customer service and, above all, the quality of their food.

First off the server was really nice and took care of us. However, it was expensive and after eating there my whole family that went ended up getting a stomach bug ?

We loved this place, my wife is el salvadorian and she loves the different options. Me I ordered a bunch of different plates and wow I was so amazed that I told all my friends they had to go there. This place is a smash hit. Thank you ponchos for making my day

My wife and I have been going to ponchos for a few years. Some days the service is good. Some days Its not so good. But today is the last time I’ll ever go. Super slow super rude. The guy was terrible. The new menus are cheap and crappy looking. Maybe it’s new ownership or management? I don’t know but I’ll never return.

It used to be a good place until most recent. Ordered carne asada wet burrito and the meat was disgusting. It was super burnt as if they scrapped it off the pan or wherever they cook it on. Also ordered popusas and they were not the best as before. So sad I wanted to keep supporting local food places mom and pop but I can’t come back after most recent

Good menu selections, food tasty. Service just ok, staff couldn't answer basic questions about food. What kind of fish on tacos? Are the margaritas wine or tequila based, etc. Will go back for sure.
