100% recommend this place they are very fast with everything. We came in put our name down and not even 10 minutes passed by and we were already sat at our table. They took our drink order and brought us back some chips and salsa and I’d say 3 minutes passed and took our order again the food came out pretty quick compared to other places. The food here was outstanding 10 out of 10 will be coming back here.
Very good food yet my #6 jellano with chicken enchiladas was a bit overcooked. For me!But still really good food.A bit on the pricey side and I'll have to wait till I have a better income before I return..Otherwise yummy
Made a simple order for a carnie asada plate and a beef enchiladas plate. They told me it would be a 35 min wait for to go. I ended up getting to the restaurant just to find out they tried to add on an extra enchilada plate. Got upset when I said it was wrong cause they had to inform the kitchen it was wrong. Waited an hour and a half only to get home (2 blocks down the road) to have Luke warm food and slightly burnt food.Most likely won't go back. Sad to say sense it was my favorite Mexican restaurant in Hesperia.
How can I say this place has the tastiest Mexican food and not mention their chips and salsa? Food here is great! Chips and salsa are just as good, if not better, as the food. My fav? Taco and enchilada plate with rice and beans.
Food was great it service there was something else the gentleman was very nice and tried his best but the waitress was very rude had a party of 11 she never came asked if we needed anything took 40 minutes just to take our order we had to ask them can somebody take our order never brought napkins silverware I had to get up and get them myself had to get up and get our own go trays and had to clear dishes and put it on the empty table next to us and I had to get up and ask her for bags for our to go Trey she got very upset I told her I have gotten everything myself if I knew where they were I would get them to also started to yell at me telling me I'm the only waitress here I walked away she says yeah you do not want to hear it I shouldn't have to hear it overall experience was very bad with waitress
I fly into California twice a year to visit my sister and every time I come, we go to La Casita. Unfortunately, this evening may very well be the last time we go. My sister and I both ordered the Steak Fajitas. The fajitas were burnt and crunchy. The service was subpar. We had to ask other waitstaff other than our own for refills on our drinks. When we spoke to the waiter about our meals, their solution was to discount our check a total of $9. Seriously!? I don't expect free food but that was an average of $4.50 off per $18.00 meal. We go to restaurants for good food and good service. Tonight, we didn't get either.
I ordered a enchilada combo and a green wet burrito ,rice and beans Ala cart ,chips and salsa. The woman at register added a extra beef and bean burrito to my ticket (it was to go) I guess because she couldn't focus on what was asked,and I asked for beef and bean inside the wet burrito and the pork chili only on the outside. Then I got home with no Rice and beans ,I was charged for, and a extra burrito. When I called in to let them know of the mistake, the lady was rude very rude talking over me. Someone should teach her customer service ?
Use to be my favorite place to eat. Last visit was Tuesday March 29,2022 for lunch. Ordered La Casita Special asked that shredded taco to have no lettuce since allergic to lettuce taco came loaded with lettuce sent back all they did was try n scrape lettuce off and cover with cheese, first bite was lettuce ugh!! Carne asada was seasoned great but cold and chili relleno was cold almost frozen. Wont go back dont understand what happened to this place
La Casita Cafe is our favorite Mexican food Resturant in high Desert. Tried them all. Good is delicious and carry out is quick. My #1 favorite is the chips and salsa always fresh. I pick up for all occasions. My wedding last year we got buckets and bags guests loved. Bummer they are, closed I believe Tuesday’s. But they need time off too. Rice and bran excellent. Chimichanga beef, mini beef dry Changa, love the side salad expensive but the beat up here. Great service and there mango margaritas bomb too. Ty
I went to some other places in town who shall remain nameless and the food was not nearly as La Casita. Ask them for some hot mocajete salsa for your chips. It that's not hot enough they will bring you some fire . Really busy - expect to wait 15 minutes for a table. Totally worth it. Prices are more than fair.
