My most favourite place to have a drink and some food after a day at the beach. Sitting outside in the sun, watching the people go by. Very nice beer selection and the Baja Tacos with Carne are awesome! When you order a drink they immediately place some complimentary Tortilla Chips and great Salsa on the table! Great service and lovely staff!

We regularly dine at Waterman when we're in town. The food is consistently good, love their beer selection. I had a Maui brewing pineapple wheat on tap. Kid's chicken fingers are a solid option for the kid. They are panko crusted, which took my son a bit to get used to. I think they are delicious. Fresh salsa and chips. Used to be a self serve salsa bar, pre covid, which was awesome. It is loud, prob louder than it needs to be on Sundays with football. But that's Sunday in hermosa. Comes with the territory. Great crowd. Servers are nonstop running, refilling.
Disappointed that they no longer have happy hour, or their "Taco Tuesday" specials, which is why I suggested meeting someone there. The food and beer were good though, with few patrons.

This restaurant has great service but being right by the water they should ask if their customers want straws and single use cups. You are right by the water....don't you care about the environment?
The fish tacos were really good; blackened mahi mahi was the clear winner! Drinks were good and strong, but not overpowering. A little pricy for what we got and the server was a little ditsy, but overall good experience.

We tried this restaurant without first checking TA reviews due to a rush at the beach for brunch and needing a location to sit out with the three Whippets. Lucky again, the food was quite excellent. I had the Chicken Fajitas and they were outstanding once I let them sit and sizzle awhile. The onions and veggies became perfect consistency and flavor, super yummy, high quality ingredients. My wife had the Aussie Aussie sandwich with Pokie, it was also excellent. Very fresh and clean ingredients. Great to sit out with the dogs, great location, easy parking, great service (and safe, Chris our waitress wore a mask at all times). Very reasonable in price considering all the food and the quality, I recommend Waterman’s.
