One of the best restaurants in Hermosa in terms of food, cocktails, vibe, and views. I find it good priced for the quality but the fact that the entrees come without side is very annoying, specially when you have to pay $11 for a small plate of rice or a few fries for your burger. As a local, I also would like to see some week special deals that can compete with the rest of places on the Pier. This said, I think that it’s designed to attract people from out of town looking for a special occasion that rarely would come back within months or ever.

The food here was delicious! I really appreciate the vegetarian and gluten free options. Our server Drew was very nice and gave good recommendations! I got the crispy cauliflower as an app, and Heart of Palm salad, both were so tasty! Will definitely be coming back!
No clue what the 1 star reviews are talking about. We went midday on a Wednesday so perhaps they went during a busy time and they were understaffed (to be expected since Covid started). Honestly our experience was so completely different it makes me wonder if they have ulterior motives, or were being especially picky/difficult.Our server was friendly and always there when we needed her. There was a small mistake with the food order, but they corrected it without our even asking, and it all came in a reasonable time. Everyone else there we encountered was equally friendly and helpful. Food was great, we especially loved the Watermelon. Espresso Martini & Mercury in Retrograde were very tasty drinks. Prices a bit on the higher end but nothing out of the ordinary for beachfront restaurants.
Vista is a great spot! We stopped by on vacation and had great service. The bartender, Cari, was so knowledgeable about the food, drinks and area. She was so pleasant and friendly to all of us in the group. Thank you for everything and the tips on the area!!
What is going on HB! This place is a shame for our area and completely killing the good vibes.The service is inexistant, we literally had to go and ask twice to serve a us. The complete staff in their « kid sized » shirts seemed completely wasted due to some stuff…An entire family with children left without getting their food and were completely upset witnessing the sad show the staff were demonstrating.20 min after ordering our drinks, 2 beers and 2 wines, we left indeed. It is not a recommendable place. Better we stay with the better values on the pier like The Watermans,…I don’t think this place will last if they continue in that direction. Hasta la Vista for ever.
The staff is incompetent. Hostess told us we could sit in the patio us but didn’t bring menus. Waited 10 minutes for a server and no one came over, bearded guy in trucker hat actually made eye contact as he served his other table right next to ours and just avoided our table purposefully. The family next to us got up to get their drinks and bring them back as they were also ignored and they had children with them that were thirsty. When I got up to do the same a server inside who was the only one without red cloudy eyes said he would send one over. 10 minutes later we finally ordered drinks and food. 30 minutes later we saw the family next to us complain their food hasn’t arrived and they told the manager in the Panama hat they were leaving. We waited 10 more minutes and didn’t even have our drink order arrive yet so we assumed they forgot about us and left. After an hour we would have been stupid not to.
I’m local but new to the area and I came here “by myself”. I put my name on a list, the two girls at the outside seating area, added me to the waiting list, took my number and I said I was happy to wait an hour for a table outside. I went back 2.5 hours later and saw their waiting list scratch pad- they had sat at least 10-15 tables who arrived after me and when I questioned them - they said they needed to "seat larger tables over me" (there were plenty of 2 seater bookings). Have some KINDNESS Vista to people who are solo, especially to the people who support you often. The behavior of your hostesses lacks morals.
The cucumber cocktail tastes like what a musty armpit would taste like. I described as such to my buddy and he agreed. Funny description but I don’t know how else to describe it. Also, they were very xenophobic to my South American friend. If you’re a POC don’t come here. Two stars cause the cocktails are ALRIGHT not great, you pay for the environment.
Excellent service. Butter burger melted in my mouth. Washed it down with an IPA. And the view of the beach is spectacular
