Love the pick 2 or 3 menu special. Clam chowder was very tasty but served warm, not hot. Server was pleasant but did not offer refills with drinks. But would return, overall experience was good!
The pork chop was absolutely phenomenal! I would definitely go back!
Good food, and charming little restaurant. 2nd time going, but for some reason service was not that great this time. They didn't seem too overly busy for a late Saturday afternoon. Some of the people working there didn't say hi, or how can I help you when we walked in, and so bartender finally let me know to sit wherever we wanted. Also, had to ask for menu's. Maybe they were short staffed that day, not sure, but last time we had a very friendly waitress. Other than that, food was good, but some items a bit on pricey side. Probably wouldn't dine here again since the service was just so so.

We had the salmon salad and the peach barrata salad and both were great!
Hostess greeted us with a smile. Outdoor seating was very pleasant. Food was delicious and the drink were also tasty. Iâll definitely dine there again.
I ordered the shrimp and grits with some hesitation since Iâm not a fan of grits. The dish was awesome; 5 large spicy shrimp on a bed of grits that were covered in a mild soft cheese sauce topped with a sunny side egg. It was fabulous My son ordered the breakfast burrito. It was ordinary, small, overpriced by at least a factor or two and sat alone on the plate. Disappointing. This was after the wait staff said it was one of the better items. Son said it tasted good. After waiting 30 minutes for our food we werenât going to send the burrito back.
Brunch was amazing!!! And the service was awesome! Will be back when we are in town again.
Fun lunch with extended family. Very accommodating. Brought childrenâsâ meals immediately. Eclectic menu with lots of good options. Had scallops on green salad with vegetables. Our gang enjoyed the meal and had a corner booth that worked well with the kids. Friendly service that made substitutions without a fuss. Parking on Sunday can be challenging in downtown Hermosa so allow time to hunt
Had a great time at The Hook & Plow! Loved the food and great and friendly service as well. The caramelised peach cobbler was one of the best desserts Iâve ever had! A must try!
