My experience was humiliating here from jump. When I walk in I waited 10mins and everyone seem to busy to show me a seat. When I seated myself, immediately someone came to correct me to a different spot. Ok, so I figured maybe they’re busy. But 5 mins later when a Caucasian couple came in they were immediately seated. So I’m looking at the menu waiting for someone to come take my order, as I’m waiting I notice servers attending to that couple that just walked in, yet no one has even bothered to offer me water. I decided to sit back as I turned on my timer to wait and see how long it would take for a server to come take my order. Well it took 1hr 30mins before someone casually walked by me and said “Are you ordering anything today?” I politely said “maybe about an hour ago, but I’ll take a black tea for now” Meanwhile I was starving but I could not support this kind of service. So while I’m drinking my tea, I hear someone say directly behind me, “we have to clear out some customers to make room for our reservation party” I then turned around and ask if they worked there and the person proudly boasted that he was the owner of the joint. I then proceeded to ask for my bill, it was extremely obvious my presence was not wanted there. I Felt so humiliated and discriminated against it was like experiencing what my ancestors went through in modern day. Racism is like a iPhone it’s face change’s with time
Food was good, but Caleb our server, made the experience amazing! He was personable, high energy and attentive. He even noticed the detail on the reservation that it was my 50th birthday. He ended our evening with a yummy banana tempura ice cream dessert. He needs to be duplicated! :)

Horrible service anything I wanted I needed to ask for
We got there when it initially opened. The music was loud and the chefs were talking loud and dancing in the kitchen. They were out of the wine I wanted to order even though we were the first guests of the day but the food was good and the service was fast.
I am a very considerate and patient customer because I know what it was like in the food and customer service industry, but the lack of attentiveness and major wait times was absolutely ridiculous. I was seated 15 minutes after my reservation time, it took 20 minutes for our service to take our order and an unreasonable amount of time to get our check. I was hesitant to ask for a side of spicy mayo because 1. there wasn’t any servers or food runners to ask that weren’t already busy and 2. it was probably going to take forever for it to arrive and by the time it does, our food would have already been finished. The food was decent but definitely not worth this long wait. I’m usually lenient with the service but this was beyond what I have ever experienced. No one came to check on us while we ate, the taste was mediocre for what it’s worth, and our server barely checked on us at all.
The food looks better than it tastes. Doesn't taste horrible or fishy, but there's just no flavor. Not worth $200 for two people.
