Generous portions, delicious wasabi, good tasting sushi but sushi rice cooked incorrectly. Bento box could use more authenticity.
Not tasty at all. Charged $11 for a house salad of a few avocado slices, cucumbers and lettuce. Not worth for $70.
Wishing there were more than 5 stars! I went to this restaurant every week with my boyfriend as was always treated with such welcome and hospitality. Not to mention, the quality of the fish is the best in town. I highly recommend this quiet spot to anyone who enjoys really good sushi.
The service was friendly and it looked very clean. The quality just seemed very low. We couldn't even eat more than one bite of the ss roll. We ordered the apparently fresh bluefin and toro sashimi and it was just meh. The roll recipes all have too many ingredients. I don't want 4 to 5 kinds of fish per roll. I want something that I can tell what it is and I want it to taste good. They should cut their menu in half and the list of ingredients for the rolls in half. Oh, and the wasabi was the weakest I've ever tasted.
Great sushi and horrible service! Grumpy face, slow and neglectful.Went there with my friends and they ignored us for a while, then had a grumpy face all the time.Awfully I'm never coming back. Hire better more qualified watresses.
Good quality fish. The lunch specials are a good deal: I've enjoyed the bento box and sushi/sashimi combo a few times, and treated a co-worker friend to lunch here earlier, and even picked up a couple of rolls for his family after work today.
I love the Oki Doki Special Rolls ( B. Fire Roll ) having tuna, salmon, albacore, YELLOWTAIL yummy, avocado, crab meat, cucumber/ wrapped w/ soy paper & spicy sauce (some can take spice sauce whichever-it’s delicious) Thank you Moi!! Carola ?
Definitely the BEST Sushi in Southern California. Nothing even comes close. I went there when it first opened and continued for many years after. Fish is HIGH QUALITY. EXCELLENT SERVICE. Highly Recommend.
Best low-key sushi spot in Hermosa. Great specials and sushi is fresh. Cheap drinks too!
