Near the beach and very busy traffic location. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the wait was about 10min. Small restaurant a lot of vintage images and newspapers. Ordered breakfast items but ordered the incorrect meal but I ate it. The workers were very friendly and latino which helps me from being so nervous for my first time there. Overall I will be returning and enjoy an entree I can enjoy.

Lemon ricotta pancakes for the win. Coffee was great. Service was too. The owner was running with the workers doing all the things. He was telling everyone about the stuff hanging on the walls and how he acquired them. Even said if his parents hadn't got married in the 40s they wouldn't have made the cut. The nostalgic toasters were my favorite! I will be back!!!
The diner was very friendly from the staff to the patrons that were dining. 1940's newspapers and ads adorn the walls to give you that throwback feel. The service is excellent from the time you enter until you leave. The food is fresh and colorful. I suggest the Cabo Wabo Skillet ⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Best breakfast in the South Bay! Been coming here for years. It’s just one of those old school diners that will be there forever. Great staff, fast service. Coffee is fantastic, food even better. And of course the 1940s - 1950s decor is fun without being cheesy. You gotta get Manny’s skillet!
Honestly so tasty, we went back THREE TIMES in one week for breakfasts and lunch. Highly recommend the tuna parm melt. Great value for money. Absolutely great!
I first came here in the early 2000's and the quality is still just as good. Usually places tend to loose their spark but not here. Food is delicious, service is impeccable and the baked goods are superb
Ocean diner has a really great breakfast they do serve lunch as well but I've only had breakfast there and I've gone on off for the last 30 years. today I stopped in and just got a cup of coffee because it smelled soo, good and it tasted even better I love ocean diner and their employees are very friendly and helpful and courteous they're omelettes are scrumptious ?
My dad thinks their fish tacos are the best. There is a steady local beach clientele but frequently tourists stop by due to their high ratings and reputation for scratch bakery goods.
Delicious Food and Coffee. Loving the diner experience with great service and personality. Finally a biscuit that both moist and delicious. So filling. Definitely going to make this my regular breakfast spot. I have yet to try lunch, but I'm sure that is going to be a wonderful experience. Parking in the back is a bit tight and takes quite a bit of maneuvering to get out of.
