We split a ribeye and potatoes and salad. They did charge $1.50 to split the meal. We asked for extra butter & sour cream and they gave us plenty. Their ranch salad dressing was delicious. The steak was ok. Service was fast and friendly.
Delicious local joint! Found this lovely place and it was full of locals and outstanding food. My love and I split the "famous steak" and got a side of Cole slaw and loaded baked potato. Wow, amazing taste and texter on all the food. Seasoned to perfection and cooked perfect, it melted in my mouth! Love your prices too! We will be back often
Food was great but the bigger waitress was not only rude but was checking on everyone around us but our table even when we had the plates at the end of the table. When taking our order we asked for shrimp and she responded that it was extra with an attitude as if it’s not only on the menu but said it as if we couldn’t afford it. Still left a 5$ tip to be nice, love the food tho won’t be back <3
OMG! My children loved this place, my son who is the super pickiest of eaters proclaimed this to be his favorite restaurant! My daughter ate so well, they were so stuffed at the end they didn't even want dessert. I was astonished because they always ask for dessert no matter what. The food was very good, the ambiance is just what you expect of a steak place, the service was fast and always with a smile. We are definitely coming back!
Excellent food and service. Give a good tip of you go here. The waitresses have to buy their own tables (ugh). Had fish and chips, and baby back ribs. I usually get a steak but heard the other food was good. So true!!! Excellent!!!
I was far from impressed. I read the reviews on this place and when we finished eating, I wasn't sure if we were in the right place. The server was great, but the rib-eye was tough and had little flavor. My wife had the sirloin baby back ribs. The ribs were good, but the steak was terrible. We're only visiting, but won't be back for another try.
A friend had this delivered to me. It was off the chain. Can't wait to actually visit and dine in. Had the ribs and fried catfish! Yummy!!! ? ? ?
I have been frequenting Steer n stein restaurants for 40 years, and have never been disappointed. Fantastic food, great value and friendly staff make this location a local staple. Be prepared for the dinner rush, as it can get crowded very quickly.
For a while I was fighting my wife so we could eat here. I absolutely love the food but my wife does not like beer. Now, they just added hard liquor to the menu and their drinks are awesome!! I can now come here for date nights with my girl and she can get faded and I can get lucky!! Hahaha!!!!
Have to admit I didn't expect the food I ordered to be so delicious! I just ordered a steak sandwich for lunch and my wife has a patty melt and she loved it! My steak was cooked perfectly and the service was outstanding! A very nice and friendly place.We're going back later this month to our 26th anniversary dinner.
