We went for their soft opening on Father's Day and it was really good. The only thing we didn't like was the Caesar dressing. It could use some work but everything else we had was good! Burgers were good! Alcoholic drinks, good! The jam that came with the jalapeno poppers was REALLY GOOD! Poke nachos were good. And they said they will be asking more to the menu in coming weeks. I would go back again, easily!
The atmosphere was nice.... And the Brussel sprouts... But that's where the good stops. The waitress was busy talking to her friends at the bar rather than helping the customers. A lady from another table actually got up to ask someone else for napkins, refills, ketchup and other items because the waitress was too occupied. An older gentleman was better at helping us than the waitress (thank you to you, sir!)I had asked for meatloaf sandwich with no mayo and the vegetables on the side - it was indicated in the receipt how I asked for it - however, it came with it all. ?.The other order was a bacon cheeseburger medium. As other reviews state... many times, the burger came out raw. Also, the tomato slices were not ripe at all. When we were served the food, prepared incorrectly, the waitress put the wrong food in front of the wrong person. If we had seen the waitress after we received our food & realized it was incorrect we probably could have asked them to make our order right. I guess that would require us to interrupt her social life, though. The "loaded" fries looked like they halfway grabbed some skinny frozen fries, a splash of shredded cheese and a few bacon bits and microwaved them as if in a college dorm room. The onion rings, also as in other reviews, were limp.Love the way it is all set up and love the pies... Other than that, I suppose if I had a few drinks from the bar I wouldn't have noticed the other problems like the food & the houdini waitress, Candace. Oh wait, she was visible... From a galaxy far.... Far... Away.Using "Sir" and "Ma'am" is a nice addition, but it only works when the customer service is top notch.
First, this is the story of two meals. First was lunch. I had a French dip. It was outstanding. The service was equally as good. Second was dinner. My prime rib came out running around the plate. I sent it back. After the world's quickest microwave it came out gray in color on the outside and the same blood red on the inside. That was okay because it was so tough I couldn't eat it. Our server thought he was a comedian. This has the potential of being a great place. The ambience is outstanding. It's newly opened and they will work out the kinks. I will definitely go back. Stay tuned.
First, call and check if they've had their grand opening. We went during the "soft opening" and their menu is smaller/limited to basically burgers and sandwiches. This way you know what to expect.Everyone was very nice and attentive. A little bit of a wait for our drinks, but they were also not fully staffed. Portions are decent for the price too. Their fries are great! The only complaint I'd have is their Cadillac margarita tasted like gasoline... I like a good stiff drink but they over poured that tequila to where it had no margarita taste at all ? Other than that, we'll def go again after their full menu is available. The old fashioned was tasty.?Pictured below is their french dip, cheeseburger, and smokey old fashioned.
Finally got to try Rocking K Ranch this evening. The ambiance is wonderful I really enjoyed it. There is not a big selection on the menu for main courses, but that's ok with me. It just means it won't take me forever to decide on what to eat. I ordered a burger and it was delicious. My husband ordered a steak and it was ok I've tasted better, but it was nothing to complain about. I also had a lemon drop martini and it was absolutely delicious. For desert we ordered a pie to go. From what we were told they don't serve slices so we just bought a whole pie. Overall we were satisfied and we'll definitely go back.
Marissa was our main server at this restaurant. They are working on it but for right now I say it's good to go. Big salads big burgers excellent drinks. All eight of us like their meals and enjoy them. But Marissa was an outstanding server it took all of our orders got them all right. And was back constantly asking if we needed anything else to go with our meals when I ketchup or mustard. No really Marissa was very attentive to our table and was a great asset to have at this restaurant because she did her best to try to make us happy. And we are old and cranky so she did a great job thank you Marissa for fine dining experience.
When we got there, there was no waiting in line. There were plenty of tables open even though they were busy. I asked the hostess if we could be seated in an area where there were less people visiting. I pointed out the tables that were empty and had only 4 tables being occupied in that vicinity. She was unaccommodating. She stated they didn't have a server for that area and that those people were going to be leaving after eating. She sat me and my husband in an area that we did not want to be. When our waitress got to us and took our order it took over 30 minutes to get our food. I realize that there were quite a few customers being served but my husband's blood sugar dropped. We we're going to leave because of the weight being so long but the waitress finally came with our food and apologized for the wait. From what I can observe there definitely needs to be more servers and more cooks in the back to run an area that big. When we left we observed people waiting outside when there were tables inside that were freed up. That's not very good. The food was excellent.
This little gem just opened up and had a limited menu till next week. How ever the burger was on point and the smoked old fashion was made perfectly. Definitely can't wait till the menu is complete and try thier steak.
First time visiting this place. This is a Poke Nacho. I was surprised to see this on the menu. It was really great, I could eat that seaweed all day, it was just amazing. 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger was up there when ranking with other high end restaurants. The burger was at least five times better than Carl's Jr's pricier burgers. The French fries were very lightly battered adding texture and added flavor, their fries would be perfect for fish-n-chips. Took a coconut cream pie home for dessert. Yum yum! Wish I could give this place 10 stars!
