Coffee was imbibed gratefully! Appreciated glasses of H20 full and 1/2 full!My taste buds savored every bite of my slice of strawberry pie! My hunger dissipated with every morsel of my veggie toasted cracked wheat sandwich, too!Clarify: Polly Pies did not need prayers of Saint Jude. Great all American food and pie! I highly recommend a visit to Polly’s. This restaurant has homemade muffins and they even make Bran muffins taste like a million bucks!! The waitresses are all outstanding & friendly all shapes & sizes; old & young!Try the cod dish on their current seasonal menu for May 2022 ….delicious! For breakfast I enjoy blueberry pancakes (off diet) or my usual Avocado & Egg served on sourdough bread, I add turkey breast for protein because I exclude the egg and change the seasonal fruit cup for country potatoes!! You can’t go wrong with my suggestions and a whole pie to go!! You will be back and a regular customer like me!!!Any questions or problems just talk to Mike and he’s the guy that will make it right!
Ugh. What a sad decline! New decor is not comfortable and the place is now an echo chamber. I heard the conversation behind me better than the one at my own table! The restaurant was only about 1/3 full, so I don't know why they sat us all so close together. The wait staff was ambivalent at best. Every time our waitress came out she'd tackle two (of her 4) tables at once, giving each half the attention needed. Had to ask/remind her about several things. Food arrived fairly quickly (the place was over half empty) and my sandwich was fine but the sweet potato fries were half-cooked and tasted slightly fishy (time to change the oil in the fryer?). I left with my plate half full. Couldn't wait to get out of there - and Polly's used to be a favorite comfort food restaurant for over 40 years (in Orange County too). I'm really sad.
This place is the place to be…. Gloria the host is fantastic! We just love her!!! Always so welcoming and the food is amazing… never have We been disappointed! Sometimes it’s crazy busy but still the same Quality ! Love this place
I took my daughters here on valentine's day. Just mommy and daughter time. The servers here were so sweet and the service was great. Food was also really good. The food was out fast and price was reasonable. Will be coming back to this location
Very nice & helpful employees. Went out of their way for me and nice attitude also. Pies are very Expensive but they look Delicious. I bought 2 Cinnamon Rolls. Not cheap but pretty big so its ok
The pies seemed old and small. My husband ordered a cup of milk which looked like a child's cup. I ordered decaf coffee it tasted burnt. It was the worst coffe I ever tasted. My banana cream pie had bananas that were blackening. Our silverware had dry food stuck to it. I had to request Clean silverware. Needless to say we will never eat there again. Very disappointed. Our waitress was nice though.
First time here!!! Wonderful choice!!! They actually had me at “pies”. I ordered the cheeseburger meal my daughter ordered the Chicken pot pie meal!!! They obviously make their own bread!!! The burger was the bomb dot com. My grand son had the corn dogs and fries!!! The mango barbecue wings were fire!!!Lisa, was phenomenal!! So bright and cheery!!! Needless to say we will be back!!!
Breakfast orders where wrong. We then had to purchase an entire pie bcuz they couldn't sell by the slice when asked for an extra small plate for me to enjoy a slice, while I waited for mom to finish her meal, they said they couldn't. ?? So I order extra napkins to eat it off a napkin
