The food is always good. And Jeff is always nice to us every time we come eat. He is the owner. Nice homey feel kind of restaurant and the food is always good
The food is good enough to put up with the inconsistent service. I have dined in once, and waited for an hour for a pizza. I have ordered takeout a few times and have been served on time most of them. The last time I ordered takeout I was put on hold ("be right with you") for 15 minutes, then called in again and had my order taken immediately. The kitchen forgot to include the ranch dressing for the salad, but, like I said, the food was good enough to overlook the spotty service.
Decided to stop by at this place on the way home from Palm Springs because they had pasta. It's a cool little spot definitely a bit dated but was a nice place to stop by in Hemet. Not busy at all for Friday night so we got served fast. The staff was really nice and attentative. The wife ordered a calzone because it was similar to the one they make at upper crust pizza in vista. The crust wasn't as good but it still had a very good flavor. The Alfredo sauce wasn't bad a bit salty but they do give you huge portions. The breadsticks were a bit chewy but weren't bad they had a good garlic butter melted on top. Not picture is a very fresh salad which is very good I ordered mine with blue cheese and Italian dressing. Pretty standard American Italian place with pizza we'll probably stop by again in the future if we are in the area.
I am so beside myself…. I had company coming for dinner last night (a Saturday night ritual) and we always plan something wonderful ….all week I count calories and watch everything I put in my mouth but Saturday is all about eating, entertaining and just pure fun…. My absolute favorite pizza place in HEMET is MILANOS…. I’m so crazy about it that I actually buy lots of gift cards and hand them out to my clients who are new to,the HEMET area (I am a local realtor) so that they will know the very best place to go for pizza (and an antipasto salad to die for) ….. long story short the pizza we had last night was not the Milano’s pizza that I know….IT WAS AWFUL….ABSOLUTELY AWFUL…. the minute the box was opened I could even see that it was not the same…. I didn’t say anything until we started to eat it ( I didn’t want to plant any negative seeds with my guests) but the minute I bit into it ….I knew…. This is NOT THE SAME….nothing about this pizza was good…nothing…. The crust (which is the heart of the pie and the most important part in my opinion) was DRY DRY DRY and overcooked…. I even asked my friends who picked it up …. “Are you sure you got this at MILANOS “ ….because this tastes nothing like a Milanos pizza….they assured me that yes that’s where they got it…. I was tempted to pull it off everyone’s plate and March it back over there but we were all very hungry having saved our appetites for the feast ….after expressing my displeasure and disappointment my guests mentioned they had recently ordered an antipasto salad not long ago and it was not the same either… what had happened here…. Did Milanos sell their restaurant to someone else…that would explain this… if not then I want to turn in all my gift cards and get my money back because I would never EVER recommend this food to anyone let alone one of my valuable clients … I will be calling today but has anyone else had a similar experience???
First time here. Lynda was wonderful. Great service from the rest of the staff as well. Enjoyed the pizza and cheesy bread too! Hubby said we will have to come back and eat in next time. :)
I love this place the food is just awesome I call so much they know me just by my voice they are very nice and they tell me all the time how much they appreciate us as a matter of fact i wouldn't be surprised if they had a cot for me there And my picture hung up on the wall
Best pizza in hemet. Did not like the wait time. Seems they forgot to call out my order. I ordered on phone ahead of time, then still had to wait. I then saw others picking up their order so I went to counter to ask if my order was ready, it was sitting on the left of the cash register, not cool.
Tried it for the first time and the food was amazing. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the girl up front with the mole on her forehead was not really welcoming and came off rude. The people in the back had a better attitude and better customer service.
Love there pizza but sadly I had to change my 5 star review to a 3. Something has changed...not much sauce kr cheese and the pizzas definitely tasted different and not as good. Disappointed spending $70 bucks for so-so food. Inside there were only 4 people eating when jts usually packed.. Milano's you were my go to spot for awesome pizza and atmosphere. What is going on?
After spending $43.00 on good pizza, I was charged $1.20 for a small container of ranch dressing. Staff are not customer friendly, especially when ordering. They seem to be bothered or act like the customer is wasting their time. Rude employees, good pizza.
