The place serves your basic Mexican dishes and when I say basic, I mean that they don't carry the Cali, Miami, Arizona or any other fancy burritos or dishes. They have what you're looking for, Mexican food. burritos, tacos, tortas, birria and a few other combo plates. And to drink, you can get your run of the mill bottles soda or you can go for the homemade horchata, watermelon and 3 other natural flavors. And these plates come loaded with rice and beans. Oh yeah, if it makes a difference, they got your hand made tortillas. Both flour and corn. Nowadays it's hard to find a good taco shop and that they take credit cards. This place takes cash and credit/debit.

I have lived in this town since 1997 and this little place has been a few different things, but El Toro Taqueria is here to stay! This place is amazing for anything you order but I was recently "out and about" in town and called my sister for a recommendation for just something cold to drink. (Her work has her driving around town ALOT) and without hesitation she says El Toro for thier Cucumber Agua Fresca - said she just had one that day and it hit the spot! She of course was right. Cucumber may not be for everyone but thier selection of flavors are all delicious. I hope ya all try it

I just compare with other restaurants and wasn’t great.the birria have no flavor I thought I had the Covi19 because of no flavor on the food, but no I didn’t have the Covi19.

Clean restaurant, menudo very good (right amount of spice) tables outside to enjoy my breakfast. Service was quick, and polite. Cost is more than what I pay at other places, however you do get what you pay for?

I order some Birria tacos and they were bomb! Great flavors. Definitely coming back for more.

Great food. But a small bottle of coke is 3$ with is nuts

I am an employee that works for this company. El torito in Hemet specifically and when we clock out they still keep us in the restaurant for 5-10 minutes after without pay. They also keep the receipt of our clocked in hours that we receive when we punch out. It is not right for this company to be doing this to their employees. They need to follow the law and pay accordingly.

Pricey now but things have gone up. Only knocked off one star cause the foods always great but the service isn't. Will still continue to order items to go for sure.

Thsi location has delicious street tacos and satisfying burritos!!! The red and green salsas are ? ? . The service here is excellent money well spent i will be returning back for more.

Can't say enough good things about this place. It's amazing, tasty and clean. Staff is very welcoming and make extra sure to get your order correct and are always happy to suggest something or answer your questions. You can get street tacos with the small tortillas or tacos with handmade tortillas (I haven't tried this but it's on the list to do). Tuesday is Taco Tuesday for street tacos. We've tried asada, chicken, adobada, birria, lengua & tripa (these last 2 we request well grilled) as well as their consome (the birria stew). All delicious. They even have 2 fried birria tacos that come with a consome and traditionally, you take the tacos and dip them in the consome before you bite it. Their aguas frescas are very good as well. If anything is left on a table by guests, they are prompt to clean up. On several occasions, we've dined in and also ordered to go so that we can have more later in the evening (we reheat in our counter toaster oven and they come out great, even the next morning after being refrigerated, IF any are left).Make sure to stop by, you'll be glad you did!
