Very delicious food! I had the chimichanga de machaca ☺️

This was my first visit to El jalapeño, it's been on my list of places to go in Hemet. I ordered the chile verde burrito. It was of the wet variety which I love. I'd rank this burrito a 3.0 simply due to a lack of seasoning on the meat and in the sauce. the chips and salsa were a 3.5. Over all the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

For some reason I always loved their breakfast I went in there for a t-bone steak which only looked like a piece of carne asada but I'll roll with it ,the staff and everybody very friendly! I love the way they make their pancakes! Yummy

The service was great, our waitresses we're friendly and accommodating of our requests. The food was absolutely amazing! We had the garlic shrimp dinner, and the carne asada dinner. Every part of the meal was tasty, the beans, the rice , the corn tortillas are thick and taste homemade, the meats were seasoned perfectly, the best Mexican food I've had in a long time! Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Excellent food. Very clean with a friendly helpful staff

Great place to dine! Fine food. Great service. Comfortable setting. Yummy salsa.. Excellent limes.. Nice variety of beer. Great Margaritas.. Reasonable prices.Family friendly. Easy parking. Hours are 8am to 8pm. Enjoy!

Amazing, delicious food. My wife, Kids and I are all treated with respect as we walk through the door. Every meal has been phenomenal and the service is exquisite. Having previously chosen my favorite Mexican food place, I decided that this is my favorite "Sit down" Mexican food restaurant in Hemet. My family and I will be returning, thanks El Jalapeño!

This place was recommended to us by a family friend. Honestly the food wasn’t that great. The service was horrible. Since we walked inn the waitress had an attitude. She told us to wait and pretty much were standing next to her. After I guess realizing no one was coming to help us she ended up seating us. We put our order inn and she disappeared. Our food was brought by another waitress. Then our drinks by another waitress. A younger waitress passed by and asked if we wanted anything else we asked for the check. We waited about 20mins for the check. We never saw the waitress that gave us the drinks. Eventually we got the check and it was piece of paper with scribbles on it that said $60? We went to pay we were rung out quickly. I’m never coming here again. Everything seem like it was just reheated. You can probably get the same knock off Mexican food at the frozen section at Walmart. The only positive thing about this place was it was clean. Other than that I rather go eat somewhere else.

Very good place to eat! Definitely recommend

Time was long for take out. I forgive and forget. Bf loved the food.
