Not as good as it used to be :( I used to come here as a kid a lot. Our tea wasn’t sweet and We never used to have to ask for it to be. Most of the food tasted expired or bad, the egg drop, lo mein, and honey walnut shrimp was pretty good. The person I shared with insisted everything tasted off but I didn’t taste it until the dough for our wontons and egg rolls tasted like they were expired and the homemade sauces don’t taste like they used to. If it’s under new ownership, I don’t recommend the new owners keep the name of China Garden Bc this is definitely not it.
Always a great time, great food and great prices.
Very sad.. this used to be our monthly go-to for good Chinese food (sometimes weekly lol) After they switched owners, we've tried it a couple times and it's been very bad but we had hope the food would improve... tonight is our last visit, the food was beyond bad and smelled rancid so we threw most of it away. We really loved this place but it's officially gone.. well find another go-to. So sad.
Good food, I love their wonton soup
We ordered a very large order for 8 people online with delivery, the food was delivered quickly, HOT and so yummy. This restaurant has been a staple in the valley for years, as a teenager I used to "ditch" school to go for lunch with friends every so often. I am glad that all of these years later they still have great food, and are in the valley. The online ordering with delivery?! That is a huge bonus and made our family movie night even better.
VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. This place used to be pretty good before the remodel. I looked forward to their Honey walnut shrimp but now I’m really sad to see the food is way different. It’s less portioned & the taste is way different. I paid $26 for 2 entrees (what you see pictured) & I genuinely feel like I got scammed. I was a loyal customer before tonight and sadly I’ll never eat here again nor will my work be doing their monthly order from here. I’m really nervous about the chicken too, after I ate a few pieces I noticed it was all pink, every piece was pink on the inside. Either because it’s under cooked or very cheap chicken. Probably both, wish me luck!
Great lunch specials. Their cashew chicken and Mongolian beef are delicious. Lunch special comes with egg roll and your choice of soup.
Very disappointed is an understatement. My family has enjoyed China Garden for years, but this isn't the same restaurant. They were "closed for construction" for a while and when they reopened, we learned they were now under new management. The prices were raised, for food that was lesser in both quality and quantity. Staff was lacking and not on it either. We ordered fried pot stickers and cheese wantons which both came out to us cold. I was finished with my food long before my husband received his. Also, My husband ordered a beer, the waitress opened the beverage and was on the way to the table but was quickly informed by another staff member that they didn't have a license to sell the alcohol. This is not the same China Garden we knew and loved and most certainly won't be returning.
This had been by far my favorite Chinese food restaurant since I was a little girl! Always fresh and delicious.
Used to be our favorite place. Not sure if they changed ownership, or chefs but food is not as good. Also some favorite dishes not on menu anymore. Prices went up and taste went down . Fried rice substitution $2.00 extra. For noodles substitution, it's $4.00 extra. For a Chinese restaurant, it's a bit ridiculous, since they serve fried rice or noodle dishes.
