Our time at Valette was amazing. Our server was fantastic when explaining the menu items and making suggestions. The food was top notch! The surprise of the night was the scallops. Iâve never had scallops served steamed with puff pastry and the caviar Burr blanc sauce was to die for. Thank you Valette for making my birthday memorable.
Nice restaurant with fun menu. The hostess was not the most engaging and sat us next to the front door instead of one more table away bc it was set for 2 instead of 4, but no one ever used the better table. Waiter was nice, but did nothing to help us or make us feel invited. The table runners etc were better than the waiter who was more interested in asking a question, not listening or caring about the answer, and then going back to the bar to talk to his coworkers.
Scallop encroute is a must! We loved both the beet soup and salad. Halibut was perfect and porterhouse pork was awesome. Service was kind and timely.
We went here as we are on vacation and staying in Guerneville - the atmosphere was amazing and the food was unbelievable. So many amazing foods, we got the 6 course tasting menu and we paired it with a Russian River 2020 Rosé and all of the different courses paired extremely well with it. Do not skip the scallops! 10/10
Valette has a casual vibe, with superb food and a well curated and reasonably priced wine list. Do the "Trust me" menu , but demand the scallops.
Great presentation on all courses. Umberto was very attentive. Manager and owner came by to see how everything was.
