I can't believe how long it took us to find this place! We've visited Healdsburg from SF for many years but never heard about Flakey Cream Doughnut Shop. Fortunately we stayed at a nearby Inn that gave us a breakfast coupon. This is truly a local's cafe with a very impressive, large breakfast menu. Great service and delicious food. Don't miss the spicy housemade breakfast sausage!
Excellent breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns were crispy, and the chicken fried steak was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The country gravy tasted just like homemade gravy!My coffee cup never emptied.Even better was the service. Our server (the owner) was attentive, family friendly, and was super accommodating and helpful with our large party of seven.I plan to go back many times in the future!
My 'over hard' eggs were just right, the bacon was nice & crispy, and the hash browns were a perfect mix of crunchy and flavorful. I'll be coming back.
A surprisingly good little breakfast cafe away from the more crowded restaurants in Healdsburg. Great service and friendly staff!
Not only was my last meal not cooked, yeah , the donuts have gone up from a dollar and a quarter to $2.50 a piece in 2 weeks. Bob would be ashamed.
I haven't found anything bad here. The chili's got a little kick. The Cajun sausage is great. Pork chops are good and the grilled chicken is excellent. Dont forget the grab some donuts on the way out
Amazing breakfast and doughnuts and it's probably the most inexpensive place in Healdsburg. The staff is very friendly and I feel right at home here. I recommend it to anyone.
