This is a fun super friendly tasting room. They serve wines from small wineries.Optima is a special one and also Lago Di Merlo.
We visited the Family Wineries for a tasting on a Monday afternoon. We were fortunate to have Billie as our hostess. She and her husband own Lago di Merlo. Billie was so friendly and knowledgeable. You can taste any of the wines they have from 5 different local wineries. This was so much more fun by choosing from so many wines. Our favorite was Primitivo from Lago and Chenin Blanc from Dashe. This is a must do in the Dry Creek area.
Great experience and service. Excellent opportunity to try different small wineries with excellent wines
Due to the interaction on 2/23/19 that my husband and I received at this location was quit rude. We walked in there was an available space at the counter we were the only African American as I was looking at my phone the guy walked up to us and stated we are full today were not accepting anymore groupon's. Little did he know we didn't have a groupon but as the white lady stated oh I didnt even know you guys did those. Unfortunately the treatment at the location was totally disgusting and disturbing. We are members of over 16 wineries in the Napa area and were recommended to try some in this area. Truth is this was not one of them. We took our self right out of the establishment and went to spend our money at the Peterson winery.
We had a good experience over at Family Wineries. Great variety of wines to choose from.. I highly recommend stopping by.
We found this place through Groupon but come back regularly, Shaun is awesome and saved my life when I forgot to eat breakfast!
Great experience! We came early morning with my girlfriend and had a blast. She ended up buying Semillion, highly recommend if you like whites. The service was friendly and we will certainly return.
Stopped in here several years ago on a wine country roadie and it was my most favorite tasting room of the entire trip. Why? I was pretty put off by a lot of the Napa side wineries and some of the larger Sonoma side ones, many of those wines didn't knock my socks off and were typically $50 and up per bottle. At the family wineries i found what I was looking for, really great wines that were $40 or less and a super laid back staff that was very helpful. The Collier Falls wines were amazing at that time and i wish i would've bought more. You also get to sample a bigger variety of smaller wines since it's a coop. I'll definitely make a point of coming back to Dry Creek and to this place especially.
this is the real wines of DRY CREEK Family owned and operated ...been stopping by here when visiting for 10+ years .... do yourself a favor drop in!
Great wines and super friendly staff
