We split the tomato soup and a garden salad. Each had fresh pasta and risotto dishes. Everything was very good. Service was friendly and efficient.
Four of us celebrated a 40th wedding anniversary here. We shared 7 dishes, including three salads, a side of padrone peppers, and two entrees, a roasted salmon and a seafood risotto. Each dish was very well prepared, and the seafood risotto was the best I have ever had. Service was perfect; attentive without hovering or pressuring us. While not cheap, the price point was quite reasonable for the equality of the food. Also, the wine list was sufficiently varied that we had little trouble selecting what would pair well each course. Chalkboard was a great find. I strongly recommend it for a nice evening out.
This is our third time eating at Chalkboard and the food, service and ambiance never cease to impress! The bouillabaisse was perfectly light while still being satisfying enough for an entree, the salmon was amazing as well and went perfectly with the corn and green beans it was served with! For dessert we had the cherry sorbet since we were celebrating a birthday which conveniently (intentionally?) tasted delicious with the black Forrest verrine, so delicious! Weâll be back next time weâre in the area!
Way too expensive for the quality of the food. Felt like they served what they bought at the store. Even the 'homemade' sticky bun was bland. Can't recommend it for the price.

Lovely outdoor patio. Very attentive and professional service. Menu was simple yet delicious. Since they promote tapas style dining, a large group would work well.

We sat outside and the setting was lovely. Was not too busy or noisy. Food was excellent and service too. We were expecting very high prices, but the bill came out reasonable. Would return .
