My husband and I visited this place for my birthday ...Super fun and beautiful vineyard! Their Signature Flight which includes their sparkling wines is $40/ person. So worth it! The staff is so kind and knowledgeable. They also allow you to walk the property at your leisure. Totally recommend!!!
We visited Amista Winery on 1/30. We enjoyed our visit, and liked the wines we tasted, enough to order some sent to our home in CT.We ordered 3 bottles of the Sparkling Grenache. They arrived, via UPS, on 2/8, having traveled via surface transport, across the country.Unfortunately, as a result of exposure to very cold weather in transit, all 3 bottles have a white, flaky sediment on the bottom.True professionals, and justifiably proud of the wines they produce, Amista explained the situation to me, and explained that the sediment is not harmful, nor will it effect the flavor of the wine. Further, they graciously offered for us to keep and enjoy the 3 bottles, and are sending 3 replacements as soon as it appears that there will be a period of reasonably good weather.A beautiful vineyard, VERY friendly and accommodating people, and wonderful wines.I can only give Amista Vineyards the very best recommendation!Visit when you’re able - you won’t be disappionted.
We recently visited Amista; my husband’s brother was visiting from the UK and we wanted to show him a little bit of wine country. Alex was an amazing host and was so friendly and helpful, and the wines were absolutely delicious. We loved the comfortable atmosphere in the tasting room as well. Overall a wonderful experience, I can’t recommend Amista enough!
We first met Vicky and Mike when building the Amista Tasting Room was still a dream for them. We have shared many happy hours at Amista, over the past decade-plus including our daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner, weekend picnics with Amista wine in the sunshine, a privately-catered dinner for business guests and many Dry Creek Valley Passport Weekends. We can vouch for the outstanding and consistent quality of Amista wines, as we are long-time Amista wine club members. Don't miss the Sparkling wines! We are also fans of Amista's unoaked Chardonnay. Of course, Dry Creek Valley is known for their Zinfandels and Cabernets----Amista's are great. Also try their Syrah and Tres.We highly recommend a stop along Dry Creek Road to visit Amista's tasting room with their friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Amista wine is the very best!!! It is delicious versatile and reasonably priced. All my friends and family that have tried it have raved about it. I serve it for special occasions and any day I want a lovely wine with my dinner. I also love visiting the vineyard when I’m in town it is a peaceful laid back friendly place to sip and enjoy♥️?

Vicky and I have been friends for years and when she and Mike opened Amista, they were so excited and proud. They should be proud! Amista is such a special place - one of the most beautiful and fun winery’s to visit. The whole staff is so welcoming and the wine is special. My favorites are their sparkling wines. We live far away now, but we love our club membership and enjoy the benefits and friendship of Amista and look forward to visiting when we travel back to California.
I have been a friend of Amista for many years and just love visiting the vineyard and the wonderful people there. No matter where we move, we can still enjoy their wonderful wine through our wine club membership and the communications from Amista. We love their wine on special occasions with friends and family, as well as every day for just us. I especially love their wonderful sparkling wines!
Really enjoyed my visit to Amista. We were greeted by the owner and couldn’t have been a better first wine tasting experience for my brother! Comfy seats to relax in and popcorn and chocolate to go along with the wines, I would highly recommend a visit.
A visit to Amista Vineyards is always a special experience…….the wonderful sparkling wines, interesting and elegant red wines. The venue is beautiful with a lovely tasting room and if the weather cooperates, seating areas nestled in the trees with views of the vineyard. I recently visited Amista with my sister from Oregon and we both throughly enjoyed our time at Amista learning about and tasting their wines. We also had the opportunity to talk with Vicky Farrow, one of the owners, and hear about the story of Amista Vineyards. Amista means “Making Friends” and every time I visit Amista, I am welcomed as a friend.
