The BEST chinese food in East Bay.Finaly open for indoor dinning too.Chef Kim has been workinh there well over 25 years .Great service too.Only problem can be finding parking spot ,buy it is well worth it .My favorite is Mongolian beef chow mein.

This is our first time because (Uncle Yu was closed). I can only compare the food with Uncle Yu restaurant because that's our favorite place. This food was good, very clean, however it was missing a lot of flavors and very small portions. Also I ordered tofu with mushrooms, I got 6 pieces of tofu and rest was broccoli, zucchini and a few mushrooms. My husband ordered chicken with broccoli and he got mostly broccoli. So we will ordered again from here?! Yes, when Uncle Yu is closed.
Ordered a lunch special the rice was undercook and hard. Did not taste fresh, the food was nasty along with the cold egg roll. First and last time here ! Waste of $30 plus for 2 small lunch orders!
Very rude waitress... out of rice.... we walked out!My family has been going to Sunflower since the first one on CV Blvd. We love the food! We know because of Covid, indoor dining and hours may be affected. So, we called ahead of time at about 6pm to ask about indoor dining and I was pleasantly invited to come in. We didn't arrive until 7:15pm, and closing time was 8 o'clock. When we came in no one acknowledged us We get it, its busy. But then we sat ourselves and I asked if it was okay to grab the menus. The waitress then awkardly asked how long it would take us to eat. I told her we should be done by 8pm. We never felt so unwelcomed. Then when we ordered, we were abruptly informed that there was no rice. How it all played out was awful. Like they just didn't want us to eat there. And we left. Not sure if we will return ever.
Where do I start! The food was absolutely delicious. I had Thai iced tea, hot & sour soup, and chicken & broccoli. All of it was fire!! The service was amazing. Manny and Larry will take care of you! I would highly recommend Sunflower 2.
Why would you even send these out I’m done with your business
I've tried about 6 of their vegetarian dishes now. All the ingredients tasted very fresh and were cooked perfectly and the sauces were excellent, however all were on the mild side; if you prefer saltier or spicier tastes you will need to ask for spicy or add soy sauce.
2nd time and it was better than the first.
