I was looking for my keys and thought maybe I had left them there, as I’d gotten a burrito form there earlier, so when I went to check I could see staff members cleaning the restaurant and hear their music playing but as I was banging on the window asking for them to please open the door they blatantly ignored me through glass window. Will never go back and promise to make sure no one else will, terrible people
The food is great but the advertised closing time should be honored. They actually close half an hour before the closing time. If you order your food past half an hour before closing time, you are not allowed to eat it inside, even if the place is supposed to be opened.
Came here for lunch and the beer on tap was bliss ?.Great atmosphere, plenty of seating inside and out and the brats were amazing, exactly what we were looking for.
In Hayward, just off of Mission Street in what is hayward's equivalent of a little Zocalo, Latino couples, and Families walk around in the summer evening enjoying the nice weather, and also the delicious tacos from Metro Taquero.Small chain with three locations in the East Bay, this particular location had some rock-solid tacos, and good fresh sides. I ordered 2 Al pastor, 2 carnitas, and one Pollo Asado. They were all really good, I was happy to see that they were cooking most of the meat fresh on the grill, the staff was really cool. Even at some of the better Taco places I can't find a really Soul searing hot sauce, but this place did not disappoint, as they have house sauce called Salsa Diabla, which had a nice solid burn. If you're in Hayward I would highly recommend this place, as it was my first visit, and it was really good, and I intend to return.
Love the price of the burritos, nice service, and enjoy eating outside! My go to place when I’m in Hayward and craving Mexican food.
i’ve only been a few times but they have all been super friendly and the food is delicious. checks all the boxes for me
came here recently with my girlfriend. she introduced me to the haystack burrito! it was really good. definitely would recommend ordering that. friendly staff. can be slightly pricey.
Love it here! Food is great and fast service. Girls at the counter are on it. I always get tacos, my husband a burrito. Yum!
I like the tacos, quesadillas, and pinto beans.
We have tried both locations of Metro Taquero and they consistently impress with their fish tacos as well as their haystack burrito that has french fries. Their rice is also tasty and goes well with the main course. Highly recommend as this place has become our go to restaurant for nice Mexican food.
