This place is a Hayward staple. Since they changed their schedule to be only open 2 days a week the food is so fresh and better than I remember it being, which is saying a lot since I thought it was delicious to begin with.
This is the BEST burrito I have ever had in my life! Will come back here time and time again! The shredded beef + carnitas meat is amazing! The crispiest chips ever topped with salt - best experience I’ve ever had! This place was a recommendation from my dad who had been coming here since he was a kid! Flew out from FL and now I’m going home dreaming of Los Compadres and not being able to have it!
All time best flavor of Hayward. Unfortunately they no longer care about customer service and constantly raise their prices and decrease hours
I've been eating there for years, back when the super burritos were $2. So whenever I'm in town I'll stop by for some good Mexican food.

I lived in that area in the mid 70's. I remember walking through a little store to get to the restaurant. There were always people lined up out the door. Really good food. Nice to see they are still in business.
