They adversities that they are open when they are not, we try to call and they do not answer. This is a very unprofessionally ran business and I don’t trust the integrity of this place. They make it hard for me to support black business because this is what I love to do. I am a black business and I don't make people feel bad the way they make me feel. I live in San Jose and I drive 45 min just to eat here. At first I loved the taste and flavor but the plates kept getting smaller and smaller the more I come, yet the price keeps increasing. I used to go out of my way to eat this food and today I tried to give it another chance and I genuinely feel it's no longer worth it. When I first came I feel in love with the food and I arranged my company to be catered from this restaurant. To be honest I was embarrassed. They where extremely late, the food was cold and the cater was rude and sarcastic. This kind of place makes it really hard for me to support black business because I totally feel taken advantage when I come here. They lack integrity here. Look at Yelp for more of the truth....
My plate was absolutely delicious! I was closing my eyes praying to Jesus with gratitude for a blessed and well tasting meal, the potato salad definitely has a secret ingredient, and dessert was delicious! I’m looking forward to my next visit for prawns and the salt and pepper fish. The Chef is on point with the ingredients!
Maybe because the last place we had was basically inedible, but oh man, this food was so so good. I wanted to take a picture but my phone wasn't nearby. I didn't think it was worth it to get up. Tri tip, hot links, ribs, Mac and cheese, baked beans, potato salad, greens, candied yams, corn bread, all super yum. Got a bunch of desserts so I'll update because I'm too full to eat another bite. What a treat!
Just, one of my favorite places to eat. Even though we just discovered a week ago. The potato salad is insanely good! PB is so friendly it's a joy just being in the establishment. We will return!
All they should be serving is just potato salad because this is a sorry excuse for BBQ. I don't know what these other folks are tasting, but my experience (rib, chicken, fries & mac) was aweful. I will NEVER return & I don't recommend anyone to give this spot a shot.
I really wanted to like/love this place cause the guy doing the cooking and serving is way cool but I just couldn't. I ordered a combo plate with ribs and sliced beef. The ribs were tough and under cooked and the beef was WAAAAY over cooked with absolutely zero flavor other than the mediocre sauce. He asked if I wanted sliced bread with it and I replied yes. When I got home and opened the container there was only 1 slice of bread. REALLY ! The only thing palatable was the potato salad. It was very mushy but did have decent flavor. I am giving the 1 star review based on 1/2 a star for the guy and 1/2 a star for the palatable potato salad. I asked the wife and kids who love BBQ to try it and everyone had the same opinion. Never going there again. Are there no good BBQ joints in the bay anymore !?!? Sad that if you want great BBQ you have to slow smoke it yourself at home !!!
Excellent BBQ! I had the tri tip and chicken with mild sauce. It was very good. I am a mac and cheese lover and very picky about it. This was one of the best mac n cheeses that I've had. Just like a fresh homemade dish. The man who served us was also very friendly. Will definitely come back!
Fist time eating here and it's amazing. Food is all tender and plated well, the sides are delicious. I'll be back for sure.

Stopped by after some trail walking. The food is really good, portion size is good, and the service was excellent.
