I ordered the shio ramen and some need skewers, the noodles were simple and gummy but the brother was really tasty and made me feel cozy, the restaurant is also nice so the setting made you feel calm. I enjoyed coming here for lunch and plan to come back with friends
It is great. You have to try it if you like Japanese food. I will be back for sure.Flavors are really good. Portions are generous. Prices are decent.What more can you ask for?The parking situation is a little awkward since it is downtown. It is not too bad to park around there though and it is absolutely worth walking a few blocks to eat here.Treat yourself. This place has excellent food.
They are very nice and the sushi is fresh. But when I go out of my way to confirm and reconfirm that the California roll has the imitation crab stick, not the nasty crab/mayo salad, I hope that I can trust that. Well 3/4 of my rolls all contained this nasty crab-Mayo salad. I’m eating the meal because it wasn’t cheap and I am craving sushi- but it is all wrong. 3/4 of the rolls have this specific ingredient that I specifically asked about and was assured would not be on the sushi. I was told a crab stick and I got crab-Mayo salad. I get that this is the standard for a California roll in California, but NOONE else does this. Any other state or country, a California roll has the crab stick, not this nasty crab mayo salad.
The service was fair, even though we were the only table at the time. Had to wait, and ask for service vs being offered service. The was good though. Every item ordered was good, sushi and ramen.
Great service and location- The Hamachi kama was the best I've ever had in the bay area - grilled to perfection and perfectly seasoned. Everything I've tried here has been great quality, fresh, and very tasty. I recommend you try the spicy garlic edamame, and definitely the Hamachi kama.
The crowds tells it all you can’t go wrong!! Enjoy!!
The beef ramen and sea food Ramen are delicious. I also recommend the Lion king, dynamite, and Godzilla rolls.
I 100% recommend this spot if you want to try out some ramen, the ramen is very good at a price from 9-15$, the staff is really nice all the time, always gives me what I ask for?
Ordered chicken karaage curry, chicken katsu curry, and futo maki sushi. Food is not bad but not very good either. Karaage was not crispy at all. Amount of curry was very little and too watery. Some part of futo maki was hard to chew. Chicken katsu was good.Interior and tables were on the smaller side. Everything was served with plastic as if dine-in is treated the same as to-go, it looks like they aren't trying to wash dishes. Overall not worth coming here to snipe their hours for dinner if you don't live in downtown Hayward as they close early and close their kitchens earlier.
