Emils has been one of our favorite places to eat. They serve very good portions & it tastes like "home."I highly recommend the ribs (everything else is quite good as well) but I prefer the ribs. I give them 5 stars.Keep up the good work!
I love their ribs. I ordered the Jr. Rib plate with a side of baked beans this time. I have eaten here four or five times and have yet to be disappointed. The ribs are fall off the bone GOOD... love the steak fries. This has to be one of the better Rib joints in the Bay area. I drive across the bridge to get them. Sorry no pictures this time.
Ordered the ultimate burger, the ultimate chicken sandwich, the French dip sandwich, Emil’s Special Rib Sampler, and the Burst O Berry pie. The ultimate burger patty was dry, lacked flavor, the French roll was tough and sponge-like. The ultimate chicken sandwich was unsatisfactory, bland, and lacked effort on the part of this restaurant. Emil’s Special Rib Sampler lacked flavor as well and was as tough as dried out beef jerky. The Burst O Berry pie was tasty and was good with French vanilla ice cream. The only reason I gave one star is because the service staff member that closed the sale at the register was awesome. Other than that, I will not order food from this establishment in the future.
The servers are always nice. Friendly family environment. Good food.
Due your self a favor and enjoy a great meal here. Always satisfying and I always take something back home .
From the first moment you arrive in that place team give you an enjoyable feeling. Very courteous waiters, it is a lovely place to to go out with friends or with your date. delightful cuisine, creative chief cook and stuff, reasonable pay and excellent service. Highly recommended.
Great ribs. I love their coleslaw with their homemade sauce. Good pie.

Apple crumbled cheesecake 5/5. Easy online ordering for pickup. Not overly sweet. Decently priced. Will definitely return for more pies!
My dad used to go here 40 some years ago. Still the same good food. Worth a stop if your in the area, or just need some good food.
