Excellent food and service! Had the veggie omelet with egg whites and fruit and the fruit was really fresh. Very filling. My friends had the strawberry crepes and they were awesome! The eggs were cooked just right lots of cream with those crapes. Everyone was happy with the food.. Denny's is my favorite place to go for breakfast! Highly recommend it. Manager is Onkar Singh, he came over a few times to check on service and food. Very personable and attentive to us.
Been coming to this Denny's for years.A lot has changed due to the pandemic. Most of the previous servers that used to work here before the pandemic are now gone. That's kinda sad because it was always good to see their friendly faces.Now that the restaurant is open to indoor dinning it seems that they are short staffed almost all the time.The management should hire more servers to help out specially since the restaurant seems to be getting busier now.The servers are great ? but the service needs to improve to the way it was before the pandemic.
Came in at 4am, stood in their to-go area for about 20 minutes hoping to at least get my order taken and wait in my car. Made eye contact with several employees but none was willing to take my order and at least get me out of their way. It was not even busy, one was even taking her sweet time cutting strawberries. Approached one employee to tell her that I want my order taken, said “to wait”, and went about with what she is doing and completely forgot about me. Two doordashers were waiting for about half an hour and about six callers were ignored during my “wonderful” time waiting for someone to accommodate me. Staffs responsible were the ones working during 3/27/22 around 4:40am. If only I could give negative stars, but here’s one, I guess.
Both staff here tonight extremely lazy. Nobody at front counter. Made an order for nachoes came without salsa or sour cream. When i came back in to get it both the staff laughed and took a very long time gossiping about the situation. Must of thought it was funny to forget my food. You work at dennys jokes on you. Look at posted picture for what i recieved as nachoes
Sunday lunch and every place is packed. Stopped by this Denny's and a line. Mgr said only a 16 minute wait, turned out to be 12 minutes. Fast service, hot food, nice people. Will be back
It's a Dennys. Had the bourbon chicken. Generous serving. Meat a bit overcooked. Partner had salmon with the rice and broccoli. Prices are a bit higher but felt the value for the money was OK . We're dining out less in general. Dennys is still one of our go to places.
I’d like to compliment Jessica our waitress at the Union City, CA location. Every time we dine at restaurant, her service is impeccable! She is the main reason we continue to comeback. Thank you Jessica!????????❤️
I came in today for breakfast & had such a lovely experience.. thank you to my server ANDREA that treated us with kindness and recommended the best strawberry pancakes !! 10/10 place.
Called 20 times nobody answers the phones, was calling to edit order from delivery. When i got the food they sent molded bread!!! you literally looked at the bread put butter and cut it but cant see the mold!? 1 star is way to many should be negative!
I'm super surprised I'd be reviewing a Denny's, but here we are! I had a delightful experience at this Denny's that I feel they are deserving of a review. The food has increased in quality since the last time I ate at a Denny's (I used to live across the street from one so I frequented Denny's).However, it wasnt the food alone that stood out. But the service here is friendly, professional, and enjoyable. Three qualities I would've never expected from a Denny's but kudos to them and management for stepping up their game. Special shout-out to Kaleb (with a K) for being super on point and friendly with his service.I'm happy to have an easy place to go to when I'm unable to decide what to eat and expect a nice experience with dependable quality food.Also, shout-out to their side salad. It's almost a full meal itself!
