Staff is super friendly, most food was absolutely delicious, and they are very accomodating. Though keep in mind that this place is quite popular, so their parking lot fills up fast. Also, I would not recommend their calamari. It was bland, you don't get much, and the sauces did not help the flavor (also very bland). But the rest of the food my friends and I had were great. The person who recommended this place highly suggested we try the osso buco (braised lamb). One of my friends ordered it and loved it. I am not a fan of lamb, so I went with their fettucini pesto and LOVED IT. Overall, this place was great...oh, one last small "complaint" is if you are a plus size person, their chairs are very uncomfortable.
This restaurant has amazing food. I especially liked their parmesan cheese they offer you to put on top of your food and the bread they gave us as a starter! It came with a delicious sauce. The only reason I gave it a four starts instead of five was the lack in cleanliness. The restaurant was beautiful, but the silverware were not clean at all. There was food on our silverware and we had to ask for clean ones. Our table had crumbs on it. This is why I'm going to start taking my own silverware to restaurants. Their silverware is almost never clean. I appreciated the man that would also come around often to refill our cups with water.
I had a luch buffet with my family at this restaurant. The restaurant ambiance was very cozy with that Italian feeling. Decor is simple and tasty. Food was Great! I really loved the beef sirloin with the mushroom gravy. There's plenty of parking space on the premises. I will come again to this place.
My partner and I went in during a late Sunday afternoon for a meal so it was really in between lunch and dinner crowd and therefore fairly light number of people. The service was prompt and the food good. I had a special butternut squash pasta and my partner had salmon. We both enjoyed our meals. The portions were a good size as well.
This is one of the few, good restaurants we have in the Hayward area. Really only a handful of options, this is by far my favorite. The flavors are excellent across all dishes, you really can't go wrong. Never ordered anything here I didn't love.
The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and spacious. The wait staff was very attentive. We were a large party after a funeral, and they were able to accommodate us for a late lunch. If we are in the area we will certainly return. Authenic Italian food.
Delicious entree with a fresh salad with plenty of warm bread with garlic spread. And this was lunch. Going back for a dinner. Service is spot on by a very friendly staff. The wine selection by the bottle is large but by the glass small.
I used to come here all the time before we moved. I love this place. Nothing changed - the food was great, the drinks were great - the service was spectacular. I wish I could move the entire restaurant to where I live now.
Food was really good, staff was friendly and accomodating, we shared a couple of appetizers and dessert, we had a cocktail each, a bit loud inside, but overall a nice place for dinner. Parking was difficult on a Friday night. Average price.
Love this cozy little gem in Hayward! The food is delicious! My favorite, braised lamb shank, super tender, with a wonderfully rich reduction with soft polenta.I highly recommend this spot to family and friends!
