We visited 1/4 Pound Giant Burger in Hayward last week after meeting with the owner of Bras & Mattos Monument and the food was great with everything on it and a chocolate shake. We ate outside in the great weather and enjoyed our lunch. Will stop by 1/4 Giant Burger again.
3 stars at best. While a lot of people state that this is the best burger ever and that they taste just like they did years ago, I must say I TOTALLY disagree. While I'm from Richmond and we had a 1/4 lb hamburger stand, what I just ate had no comparison to the Richmond site! The burger didn't seem fried/grilled long enough, the mayo is NOT the same, I requested a toasted bun...it didn't happen and although the taste of the shake is good...you may as well order your soda pop with your burger, because it'll take an hour for your shake to melt so it can come up the straw! Otherwise, service was great and the spot is clean!
This place has been around as long as I can remember. Of course their burgers are tasty, wait til you try their shakes. I come there for the shakes. So thick and creamy. Be sure you ask for a spoon cuz you gonna need it. Try the pineapple. You won’t regret it. Also they have chocolate strawberry and vanilla
The burgers had no taste, it was bland. Tried the cheese burger and fried chicken burger . I dint expect the Patties to be from frozen . It’s way too expensive for the food they serve Very disappointed. Friendly staff and clean.

Under new ownership and management and is recently remodeled. The crew there are all woman surprising. Pretty yet professional. The place is real clean. Better than all the surrounding fast food spots.
Solid burger.This is a true burger joint. No dine in area, no seating, just a parking lot and building and a window you order from.It's not the best burger I had but I will definitely pick this over a fast food burger.I had the bacon cheese burger with a side of fries. The burger was good. You can taste a little char as it was cooked on an open flame vs a flat top. I recommend the grilled onions. The fries were bland but they give you salt with your order to season to taste.

Can some one tell that girl at register to chill, 1st and last time that I go over there, i told her it was my first time there and she stared at me like she didnt care, i order asked for ice water and she stared at me like if she was upset, she was going back and forth to her cell maybe she was arguing with some one, not the customers fault. If a manager reads this make sure she is not at her phone and i guess she can do a bit more of customer service. My order came to 45 bucks or so. imagine if others stop going thats like 45 x ?? what ever ppl are not going, in revenue loss.
Came here for dinner last night. Location was clean and bright. Menu was big and easy to read. Got the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Very tasty. This is basically a to-go joint although they have 2 picnic tables available. No public restroom available.
