Was very optimistic about the experience here since I have always had a wonderful time at the Hawaiian Gardens location. Boy, was I wrong to expect similar quality. In terms of staff friendliness was not greeted by the manager on duty or the staff upon entering (fine) and at the moment of placing my order I asked about a side dish option canchitas and was told that yes it was served at the restaurant but there was no way to 'charge me for it' so I couldn't order it.? They don't offer maracuya (typical peruvian beverage). Their spicy sauce tasted too lemony hoping for more heat. Dining room area has plenty of tables to sit too bad they are left dirty and area looks unkempt. All in all, go to the Hawaiian Gardens location for better service and frankly overall good vibes. Even with a packed drive thru the HG location beats this location by far. Won't be coming back sadly.
The food its pretty good. But the drive-thru wait it's to long ?. I dont recommend you going if you are on your lunch break. And sometimes they have bad attitudes.
I like that you can get Peruvian food late at night, specially my favorite pan con Lomo (but the other night they used a different bread ?)What I don't like is their Aguadito, it doesn't taste good.
Chicken and green sauce are everything! The beans and yuca are a must! However the regular rice is sorta bland but cilantro is good. The meal is the best option for families. Often a line but they move quick!
Really affordable and good food! Love that there's an express version. Good service . Will come again!
Never disappointed, good food and service. Might have a little wait at the drive through instead go inside and order seems faster.
The food is very flavorful and presentations is done well.Chickens are cooked on a rotating spit and you can see the fire as it blazes upon the chicken which is pretty cool.Prices are reasonable for the portions that you get. Whenever I want something that actually has great taste and reasonable prices this is definitely one of my go-to.
Where’s my fries ?? ? I got the veggie saltado. I would have given it a 5 because the seasoning was on point but the the onions overwhelm the flavor and I feel the fries would have helped. I think they should have added some spinach for more protein.
The food is great but never get the salad if you have an option. The salad is 99% lettuce with what I would consider a decorative tomato. Get the rice, fries or soup instead if you get a choice but the salad is included with some combos--they must own a lettuce farm and need to be rid of it.The green salsa that comes with each meal might be the best thing they have--perfect flavor and just a tiny bit of spice. Get extra and smother your rice or fries with it. Always get the Inka-Cola. My favorite dish is the Inka Sandwich-- the next two days after I have it, all I can think of is when is the next time I'll have it again. Foodwise, there's nothing that isn't good. The place itself is underwhelming, even before the covid era I would not eat in. Like eating at a Chinese fast-food place that is not dirty, just not worthy of the food. That's why it's Express, I guess. They are perpetually understaffed. Lunch time can mean longer waits. The drive-thru is often not working so I order by phone or go inside.
The chicken is good when's it's cooked all the way , sometimes the chicken is bloody when you tear off a drumstick. Last time they forgot my fries and I can't stand that they still use styrofoam containers. Last time my chicken burnt true the container , ? definitely need to upgrade their containers .
