I heard this restaurant has been around for years, but this was my 3rd time visiting this wonderful place. My family was visiting from out of state and I took them to the Star restaurant for breakfast. They and myself were amazed at the size of the pancakes! it took up the entire plate!. The bacon was crispy, the eggs cooked perfectly and the coffee was delicious. The service staff is friendly and my coffee cup was never empty. My family and I were impressed and full!Thank you Star Restaurant for a delicious meal.
Fantastic little breakfast place. Everything I've had here has been super delicious... But the best thing is their killer biscuits. I grew up in Georgia and these are true southern biscuits lighter than air, and their country gravy is fantastic on top! Staff is super friendly and remembers you. Prices are extremely fair and I keep going back. If I could give them more stars I would
It’s a treat to come here. Food is delicious and made fresh. It’s a small place with lots of regulars and fairly priced. My husband and I love coming here on random weekdays for our morning dates.
Food was amazing!!! I'm from Dallas Tx. visiting, and this place pulled up on my feed and just had to try it. Was great!! Service included.
It has been a very long time since I've been here. But I got the opportunity to take my family this morning for breakfast. No I'm not too much of a breakfast person but today I had hands down the best omelette that I've had in years! love the fact its I like our towns a little antique restaurant love this place I'll be back soon
Love that they greet you with a smile and always asking if there is anything they can do for you
Our first time stopping by and on Veterans day. Busy but worth the wait!
Won't be adding any photos to this experience since we will not be going back. The food was garbage. The service was garbage, with the exception of the one lady with the dark hair that checked me out at the register. The other waitress was a straight up Karen with menopause. I see lots of good reviews, from what I assume are local yokels, family and friends of the business that have been regulars for years. I get that. You want to stay loyal. They don't care to get new customers, because they like having the same slack jawed hay seed coming in. I have to respect that, so I don't need to be there disrupting the family tree and branching it out. If they like it going in a straight line, that's their prerogative. So with that said, I'll be taking my business elsewhere and I'm sure they'll appreciate that. For anyone looking for something new and good, this isn't the place.
The star restaurant was really awesome with it's nostalgic old time look & feel the service was good as well as the food the meal was really enjoyable I my self have a permanent place to go
One of the last small restaurants left in Hanford that does breakfast/lunch their way and very good at it ???
