I used to go to JJ bakery frequently as a kid and I would always get the pineapple bun and egg tarts. This time it is no different.
The owner is not very patient and they very small no tea for sale

I just can't say enough about the importance of customer service. I arrived at J&J Bakery this morning at 730 only to be greeted by the RUDE, NASTY owner who couldn't understand why I was asking about pastries that were not on the shelves! I was shopping to get fresh pastries to give to my family for brunch. NORMALLY, when bakeries are open, their shelves are stocked up with fresh pastries for the morning, for paying customers to choose from when they arrive. I do thank the RUDE owner because my negative experience here sent me on the path to 85 Degrees...where ALL of the shelves were freshly stocked and I was greeted by friendly staff!!!J &J Bakery Sucks!!

Everything is amazing and delicious.
I'm a big fan of JJ Bakery. They have lots of locations, but you know you'll find lots of choices of nice airy flaky barely-sweet breads along with a few sweeter denser options as well. The fruit-covered cakes look amazing, but we've never tried those out. This Hacienda Heights location is relatively small compared to their others, but they manage to pack a lot of tasty choices in, no problem. The staff was constantly bringing fresh pastries out and were friendly and got me checked out and out the door as soon as I was able to make up my mind on just how many delicious treats I was going to be taking with me.
